I woke up only to go and find a new tray filled with breakfast meats and pastry.
The smell had floated in on a phantom breeze along with the smell of freshly cut flowers.
which filled my room with the warm smell of spring.
I almost laughed when I saw the little teapot which smelt of hot sweet tea, and I Let out a little noice when I tasted the syrupy drink.
Amy smiled at me upon entering still not saying one word but her immortal eyes held mine and she sniffed.
Her eyes went wide for about a minuet, I knew she smelt my powers their was no doubt.
I looked the other way not wanting to stare, but she just turned around no doubt to go and tell the male that still has no name.
I could not think of anything to say almost an hour later as a neatly written note floated into my open bedroom chamber.
Dear. Morgan I am On my way to take care of some business be back soon looking forward to having dinner when I get back in three day- sincerely Prince Akaal.
Akaal I said the name it was bitter sweet on my tongue.
I knew that he could not hear me say his name.
after a few more hours of sitting in my room staring at a wall and admiring art on my bed room.
I never thought that I would be living among Fairies, not in the least a let go off a low laugh God I am going insane.
Another day past and their was no letter not one in the least, but I would not let myself care even though I constantly ask my what if he never comes back what will happen to me.
Will they let me go or would they roast me like a fresh slathered hog?
I blink away my mind not wanting the ability to think as Amy entered yet again for her daily cleaning noting the untouched food upon the tray.
"not good enough for you huh?" she did not hide the bitterness in her words as she scanned the room no doubt looking for danger.
when she found nothing her eyes met mine but I tried to look away but I found myself frozen in her stare.
I shook my head no and found myself looking away to the open window.
she looked please that I liked the food, but her face was masked with worry.
she nodded but said nothing, and then she left like poof she was their and then she was gone.
I blinked away my surprise, but then I found myself realizing that this was not the human world and that these people where not human.
I sighed through my nose, for the hundredth time and looked bored before their was a knock on the door.
I opened it only to find Akaal grinning at me. " Are you ready" he purred "Ready for what" was my only question and he only smiled at me as he shook his head.
" I was thinking I would show you around my kingdom the court of Nightmares"
I hesitated before following him chewing on my bottom lip in a silent manor.
"okay" I said.
I followed him almost afraid that he would kill me if I even Muttered a word.
So I stayed silent all the way up until we went outside, until I thought that I may die literally and physically too.
I was out of breath by the time we reached what looked like an old stable, but it was not run down and the horses with in came up to the gate rubbing against Akaal.
" This is the stable" I noted the horses stare and turned around looking out at the woods to where the cave was and he noted my stare.
"their safe" he muttered almost to himself.
I did not bother to be polite as I told him everything on my mind.
" I feel unsafe here amongst fairies"
He bit his lip no doubt wanted to say something of importance, or maybe he just was trying to hide his amusement or his bark of laughter.
I let go of a breath that I did not realize that I had been holding in.
" You know I get it, you are a human amongst fairies knowing the history. I mean if I were you I would be scared to"
He smiled his amusement showing in his eyes, I just scolded him.
my eyes taking in Akaal and his muscled figure. " Who are you?"
He made a Tisk sound before answering me.
" The lord of Darkness" he smiled this time he let his power radiate off of him so much so that I was Overwhelmed.
I took a step back from him from the stabled all the myths I ever heard.
It was him, It was him, all of the dark legends and myths of fairies killing mortals, but yet he let me live.
"why" he blinked away his confusion. " because you are not mortal your one of us"
it was my turn to act confused, but he put up a hand to stop me before I could say something.
" Don't bother I could read your mind, I know what your gonna say before you do or say it." " so why did you not end me, why bring me here since you know that I am a half breed"
He looked hurt like I slapped him in his face before he could continue speaking.
" we are under attack and only you can save us"
I could not help the bark of laughter that rolled off of my tongue in waves.
"your funny" I mused, but his face remained serious his long black hair shone in the light.
His eye brows furrowed at my remark.
" I am serious" his voice went deep almost like a growl and I imminently shut up.
looking the other way now taking focus in the tree line.
