Greed eats up a person so that s/he is wasted away due to the heat of the bad traits it makes one develop such as selfishness, anger, jealousy and unhealthy competition. It sucks up every strand of happiness and results in death.


 Greed is when need turns into purely want. When someone has more than enough to live happily, yet still is not content. 


Greed has a grip on our society and has infiltrated the government, marketplace, and even our homes. It creates a divide between a moral compass and relationships. It can hover over its victims mind like a dark plague, a relentless desire to acquire more and give less.


So of course Greed can destroy a relationship... Ways you can overcome Greed:Find some other interests. Practice giving to others and of yourself and you will likely find greater ease and joy. Greed is an expression of a feeling of need and deprivation and having less than others. If you develop a perspective of gratitude for what you do have, the greed will not be as present and taxing.
