Boruto’s wishes - Chapter 1
"I'm home everyone!" Naruto said as he closed the door behind him. He locked the door and let out a tired sigh.
"Hey sweetie, did you make yourself work too hard again?" His wife, Hinata, said.
"Gah, I'm sorry Hinata. I promise to be more mindful about it next time." Naruto said admittedly.
"Yea sure, just like you promised all the other times. You just don't care about us!" Boruto, their son, said. The frustration was clear in his voice. He hated it when his dad said stuff like that. It always ended up being nothing more than a cheap lie.
"Boruto, please calm down. You know that as the hokage, your father-" Hinata started.
"I don't care! I don't want a hokage! I want a dad!" Boruto said once more before he stormed off to bed. Both Hinata and Naruto sighed.
"He just doesn't understand. He knows how important the hokage is for the village. I wish he realised that." Hinata said to her husband.
"He'll come around eventually, I'm sure. Besides, I can't say he is wrong either. I will try to talk to him." Naruto said.
"Oi Naruto. Let me talk to him." Kurama said suddenly inside Naruto's head. Kurama is the nine-tailed fox sealed inside Naruto's belly. He usually sleeps all day and does not concern himself too much with Naruto's family.
'Um sure, but why the interest all of a sudden?' Naruto thought back to the fox.
"Well, I'm tired of your constant arguing. And I think that your kit may just listen to an
all-wise being such as myself." Kurama replied.
'Haha, you really need to do something about your ego sometime.' Naruto said.
"I am perfect the way I am." The fox replied with a smile on his face. It felt good to have some banter with his host every once in a while.
"Stupid dad, with his stupid job, and his stupid excuses..." Boruto said to himself as he was about to doze off. Just then Kurama walked through the door. Boruto did not notice the fox, because he had his back turned towards him.
"I wish that dad was not the hokage anymore and that our family was happy and whole. Maybe even a bit bigger. This stupid village is just not worth losing my dad for. Why don't we just go away. Even a cave is better." Boruto kept mumbling. Kurama barely heard him, but was still able to make out his words. He was shocked that Boruto hated his life that m uch. But since he wanted to hear more of Boruto's honest thoughts, the kitsune didn't make his presence known to the boy.
"You know? If we were all foxes, like they talked about in school, dad wouldn't just abandon us like this." Kurama raised a curious eyebrow at hearing the boy talk about the species he somewhat identifies himself with. Boruto then turned around, making him face the fox. He had his eyes all but closed, however, so he did not see Kurama standing there.
"I just wish we were a happy family of foxes, no... kitsune." Boruto was so drowsy that the words came out unintelligible for kurama. The fox let out a sigh.
'Hmm I'll just let him sleep for now. Our talk can wait till tomorrow.' Kurama thought. Unbeknownst to both, the planets aligned at that very moment. And when the fox felt something draw on a miniscule amount of his power for a split second, he brushed it off like it was nothing. Deciding he did not have anything better to do, he returned to his seal.
"Rise and shine, kids! Your mother and I have a present for you!" Naruto shouted through the house. Both Boruto and Himawari sleepily opened their eyes. Himawari got excited at the thought of getting a present, while Boruto was simply curious.
'Dad never wakes us up like this. Especially not for a present. And shouldn't he be at work right now? I think he might be going crazy.' Boruto thought. With nothing better to do, he put on his clothes and went downstairs to see what was going on.
"Quick, quick, big brother! I want to see what our present is!" Himawari said as Boruto walked into the living room.
"Alright, calm down Hima." He laughed at his sister's antics and made his way over to the couch.
"So, what is going on? You never give us presents out of nowhere. And shouldn't you be at work?" Boruto said with venom in the last word.
"None of that hokage business for a while, I assure you... Because we are going camping!" Naruto said.
"Whoooaaaa!" Himawari's face lit up in glee.
"Are you serious?" Even Boruto got excited after hearing that.
"You bet! Come on, get your stuff and we leave as soon as possible!" They both immediately scurried away to their rooms.
'I can't believe it! We are actually going away from this village with all four of us! This is going to be amazing!' Boruto's mood had turned 180 degrees since he woke up. He was going to enjoy every second of this trip.
'Hmmm... Strange... It is quite uncharacteristic for Naruto to suddenly drop his duties as hokage for his family like this. Although I suppose I am happy for his kit. We'll see how this plays out.'Kurama mused in his seal.
"Everyone! Over there! Look, look!" Himawari said enthusiastically as she pointed to a beautiful open clearing.
"That looks like a good spot to camp, sweetie. Well done!" Hinata complimented her daughter.
"Whoa that looks great! Let's go!" Boruto said and ran off. The three remaining Uzumaki family members laughed at his excitement, before also making their way over to the clearing.
"Look at this place. There is a large open field to play games on, a forest to get food and take a nice walk in, and a nice river nearby to go swimming. I already feel free." Naruto said, clearly satisfied with their camping spot. "Speaking of feeling free..."
Naruto touched his stomach with a hand and not a second later, smoke erupted in front of him. "I figured you might enjoy some time out of the seal here, Kurama." The jinchuuriki said to his bijuu, who was stretching his limbs.
"I think I will. It looks great here!" Kurama replied. His gaze was fixated on a nice looking sun-covered patch of grass.
"You are totally going to just lay in the sun the whole time, aren't you?" Naruto asked.
"Of course not." Kurama said, a bit too seriously for Naruto's liking. Naruto sweatdropped when he saw the fox do exactly what he said.
"Lazy bastard... Not even helping setting up camp." Naruto muttered out of Kurama's earshot.
While the kids were playing, Naruto and Hinata set up the camp. With them being experienced shinobi, it did not take long at all.
"Alright kids, camp is ready! I will cook some of the food we took with us, so I hope you're hungry." Hinata said.
"You're the best, mom!" Both Himawari and Boruto replied excitedly.
Not a second later, Boruto blinked. And when he opened his eyes, he saw that they were all suddenly completely naked! All of their clothes were gone, leaving not a single trace of their previous existence behind. They all looked shocked for a second, but then strangely enough continued with what they were doing, save for Boruto.
"What just happened?!" Boruto said, utterly confused.
"Whaddaya mean, big brother?" Himawari asked.
"What do you mean? All our clothes just disappeared!" Boruto said.
"Clothes? We don't wear clothes, silly Boru. Did you forget?" Himawari replied. Meanwhile, Kurama woke up from his nap after hearing Boruto yell. He quickly took stock of the situation and looked at Boruto.
'Oi kit,what is going on?'Kurama asked telepathically.The vulpine could speak to both of Naruto's children via thought, just like he could with Naruto. Probably a side effect of being a jinchuuriki's child.
'I don't know, Kurama. Everything was fine and now we're all naked. Our clothes disappeared in the blink of an eye. The strangest thing is though, that they don't seem to care. Like it is normal!' Boruto explained.
'Let's go to the river.Just the two of us,so we can talk in private.'Kurama said.
"Ehm... Kurama and I are going for a swim in the river. We'll be right back!" Boruto announced. Luckily for them, no one wanted to come with them just yet. And so, they walked for a couple of minutes towards the water.
"Any ideas?" Boruto asked.
"Not a clue, but it is strange that both you and I don't seem affected. Well, our minds aren't at least." Kurama said as he looked at Boruto's naked form.
"Yea, for now. Who knows, maybe it won't stay that way. First we suddenly go camping, and now this. Just what is going on?" Boruto said.
"Maybe we'll get more clues later. For now, I am actually down for a swim. Let's go!" The fox smiled.
"Haha well I suppose since I'm already naked we might as well." Boruto replied. "Last one in the river is a slowpoke!" He said excitedly before taking off. The river was only about thirty meters away. Kurama chuckled at the boy's antics and took off as well, easily overtaking Boruto. With a big leap Kurama jumped into the water, followed by Boruto.
"Khehe looks like you are the slowpoke." Kurama said with a cheeky grin on his muzzle once they both surfaced.
"Darn it! You must have cheated!" Boruto said back while pointing at the fox. They both noticed something was off though.
"Oi Boruto, since when is your hand so furry. And your nails seem longer as well. They look like claws!" Kurama said. Boruto blinked and took a good look at his hand, well, paw.
"WHAT?! Please tell me this is one of your jokes!" Boruto said.
"That's strange. Hold on, let me check something." Kurama said before he dove underwater again for a second. "Your feet have transformed somehow as well." The fox informed Boruto. Then another grin appeared on his face. "And you have a beautiful foxy sheath." He teased.
"A what?" Boruto questioned.
"Of course you wouldn't know." Kurama pinched the bridge of his snout. "You have a fox
dick. Do you understa-"
"I have a what?!" Boruto said, clearly starting to panic. He quickly made his way back over to the riverbank to take a look at his body. Once out of the water, he quickly saw that Kurama spoke true. He had two paws with opposable thumbs similar to Kurama, his feet looked like a kitsune's hind paws as well. The fur that now covered his extremities was blonde like his hair. Also....
"What happened down here?!" Boruto yelled as he looked at his blonde vulpine sheath that replaced his human penis.
"Hmm... It seems to have changed like your hands and feet," Kurama said as he too got out of the river and dried himself by shaking the water of his fur. "But I personally love this change!" Kurama continued with a way too happy expression on his face for Boruto's liking.
"Of course you would..." Boruto sighed. "Let's head back to camp. Maybe mom and dad know what is going on, though I doubt it. I'll probably be dry when we get there."
"Hmm I think that is a good idea." Kurama agreed before they started making their way back to camp. Boruto could not stop staring at his body's new features as they walked. Kurama, the sneaky fox, let his gaze linger on Boruto's new sheath a few times, finding it quite interesting. Along the way, Boruto noticed something else.
"Hey Kurama, I know that my penis is new, but ehh..." Boruto blushed a little while though over his next words carefully. "I don't recall ever seeing yours just hanging about."
"I don't have any-" Kurama started as he looked between his hind legs. His eyes went wide at what he saw. "Well, I'll be!" The fox said when he saw a generously large sheath and balls that were not there before. "It seems that you are not the only one affected. Let's hurry back and check on the rest." Boruto agreed.
Once they got back, they completely forgot about the changes already. Boruto's and Kurama's minds were not completely safe after all. It only seemed to affect them later than the rest. The duo was met with the sight of Naruto and Hinata going at it hard in the middle of the field, stunning them both in shock for a second.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Boruto screamed.
"What do you mean, son? We do this all the time as you know. You have even been watching us the last couple of times." Naruto replied. He was confused by Boruto's confusion. "HNG... And I am about to knot your mother again. Wanna watch?"
"LIKE HELL I DO!" Boruto replied. He certainly did not w ant to watch his parents have sex, thank you very much. That was just weird.
'Just what is going on?'Boruto asked Kurama through their mental link.Trying very hard not to look at his parents.
'I'm stumped, just like you. As far as I know they do not just have sex out in the open all the time.' Kurama replied. Then a cheeky smile adorned his muzzle. 'But we might as well enjoy the show since they so kindly invited us to watch.' The fox said as he walked towards the mating duo.
'Oh no,you are going crazy now too!'Boruto said,about to figuratively throw up.
'Nope. I am just not as prudish as you.' Kurama replied and watched with glee from a close distance how Naruto's vulpine member penetrated Hinata's folds. Boruto walked into the forest to try and process what just happened.
"Ahhh knot me, Naru! Do it!" Boruto heard his mother plead. He quickly covered his ears with his paws. He was not i nterested in hearing anything more from over there.
'Are you sure you don't want to watch?Your father's knot is getting quite large.'Kurama teased Boruto.
'Don't say such things you stupid fox! I did not cover my ears for no reason. I don't want anything to do with that!'Boruto replies,making kurama cackle.
Boruto simply stood there for a minute. He had no idea what was going on. Then suddenly Boruto's and Kurama's minds caught up again and Boruto rushed back to his parents.
"Am I too late?!" Boruto asked.
"Yes you just missed it. I think they are going to be stuck for a while." Kurama replied.
"Oh definitely! You must have been pretty pent up, weren't you, dear?" Hinata said.
"You have no idea." Naruto sighed in pleasure as he was still thrusting ever so slightly inside Hinata. "I will be filling you with my cum for a while."
"Aww... I wanted to see the knotting part again." Boruto said, obviously disappointed.
"Don't worry, Boruto. We'll do it again soon. But since we are going to be immobile for a while, you are going to have to entertain yourself for now. Maybe dad wants to play with you?" Naruto said.
"Uhm... your dad?" Boruto asked, confused. 'Grandpa Minato has been dead since dad's birth, right? What does he mean?' He asked Kurama mentally.
'I have no ide-'
"Yeah, you know, that lazy fox over there." Naruto said while nodding in Kurama's direction. Both Kurama and Boruto held their breath and looked at each other. Then Boruto burst out in laughter and Kurama's face turned sour.
"Since when am I your father?" Kurama liked Naruto, but this was a new one.
"Since you adopted me when I was a kit, remember? Or are you going senile already?" Naruto
said jokingly.
"Ummm... yeah sure..." Kurama agreed reluctantly to change the subject. 'STOP LAUGHING!' H e roared mentally to Boruto.
'No way,this is just too good!'Boruto wiped a tear from his eye.'Anyway,let's get away from here before it gets even weirder.' The boy-turning-kitsune said to the ninetails as he started walking away.
'Hmpf...' Kurama grumbled in affirmation before following Boruto.
"So, grandpa, what do we do now?" Boruto teased.
"One more word about that and I'll eat you." Kurama threatened jokingly.
Over the next couple of days the Uzumaki family was a happy bunch of kitsune-human hybrids. Only Kurama was still a full kitsune, now with sizable male reproductive parts. Slowly, the hair on the others' bodies started growing. It took three days before everyone was fully covered in fur. On day three they all grew a muzzle and foxy ears too. Basically, they all looked like anthropomorphic kitsune. Aside from Kurama, everyone still walked on two legs.
On the fourth day, everyone suddenly sprouted one tail. Well... everyone except for Kurama of course, he still had nine. Both Kurama and Boruto were shocked once more when it first happened, but just like the strange things that happened before, they seemed to forget it was strange in the first place after a couple of minutes.
"Alright kits, rise and shine!" Naruto said. At some point, they all started referring to each other with more vulpine-appropriate terms. Boruto and Himawari were curled up next to each other and groaned simultaneously. They were still children, so waking up was still one of their most hated activities.
'Gah... not this again.' Naruto sighed mentally.
'Want me to help?'Kurama replied mentally.The Bijuu-turned-father had become rather fond of the family over the past days.
'Haha, be my guest.'
Kurama walked over to the two kits and stopped in front of their heads. With controlled movement of his tails he scooped them both up by the waist and launched them into the air!
"WHOAAA!" They both screamed as they fell back down to earth. Just before they hit the ground, however, Kurama caught them in his tails again. The kitsune was not done yet though and did it over and over again.
"Alright, alright! We're awake now grandtodfather!" Himawari said, unable to contain her laughter.
"What did you say? I cannot hear you." Kurama smiled evilly.
"Haha well, that is what you get if you don't want to get up." Naruto smiled at the situation. "You
can put them down now, Kurama. It's fine."
"Khehe very well. You better listen to your father next time or I may just have to do that again." Kurama said.
"Then we'll definitely keep sleeping." Boruto replied.
"Oh no Kurama what have you done..." Naruto said. "Oh well, why don't you two go play while your mother and I prepare some breakfast."
"Okay, dad!" The two kits replied excitedly.
"I'll watch over them and take a nap." Kurama said.
"You can't do both those things at the same time, dad..." Naruto pointed out. "You are just going to take a nap, are you?"
"Who knows, my little kit, who knows?" Kurama replied cheekily. Naruto sighed. "Whatever, have fun you guys!" Naruto said before he started preparing breakfast with Hinata. "Alright! What do you wanna do, Hima?" Boruto asked.
"Hmmm... Oh! Let's play hide and seek in the forest!" Himawari replied enthusiastically. Boruto agreed immediately and they walked towards the forest. The forest was peaceful, as far as they knew, so there was no reason to worry.
"Alright you go hide first while I count down, okay?" Boruto said. "Yes, start from twenty. And no peeking!" Himawari replied.
"Haha of course not." Boruto said as he saw his little sister walk away. Boruto closed his eyes and started counting down. Himawari made sure to make as little sound as possible. Kitsune had very good hearing, so if she was not careful, then Boruto would already know where she was before he opened his eyes.
"3... 2... 1... Okay Hima, here I come!" Boruto shouted and immediately started looking for her.
Even though Boruto had turned into a bipedal kitsune, he still had his knowledge as a trained shinobi. And with that knowledge and training, it did not take long for Boruto to precisely pinpoint Himawari's location. Boruto found her hiding behind a tree.
"Found you!" Boruto said as he walked up to her.
"You are too good at this, big brother..." Himawari sighed in defeat. "Okay, my turn to look for you now!" She then said with excitement in her voice.
"Hold on, you had not found me yet!" An unknown voice said. Out of the bushes to the side walked another bipedal kitsune. The kitsune was naked and obviously male. He looked to be around the same age as Boruto, maybe a bit younger. His fur was pure red and the tip of his single tail was violet, strangely enough. Boruto and Himawari instantly raised their hackles. Not one second later, Himawari's mood did a one-eighty and happily greeted the newcomer.
"There you are, Menma!" She said.
"Himawari get back! Who are you?" Boruto yelled.
"Ehmm... Did you forget me, Boruto? I am Menma, your little brother silly!" The now named Menma said.
"What is going on here?" Kurama made his way over to them as soon as he heard Boruto yell.
"I'm glad you are here, Kurama. This guy claims to be Menma, my brother." Boruto said.
"Surely you remember me, grandtodfather?" Menma asked.
"I don't know what you are talking about, but last time I checked there was only Boruto and Himawari." Kurama said suspiciously.
"Come on guys, you really don't remember brother Menma?" Himawari asked.
"Let's take you back to the camp, and let Naruto and Hinata deal with this." Kurama said as he walked back. The three kits followed him back to the camp.
