Chapter 56 Confession

Deming watched Lee Dachin leave happily with some students. He turned to Guozhao Zhiqiang and said, "So, this is the great Teacher Lee?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang, "Yes, the most forgiving person you will ever meet."

Deming and Guozhao Zhiqiang started walking down the street towards the school. Deming said, "You are being harsh toward Weisheng, aren't you afraid your third master will be angry with you because you hit his son?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang sighed and said, "I hope the third master will not find out."

Deming said, "It seems that it is impossible for master Fang not to find out." He teased. "You are afraid now, aren't you?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang shook his head, "I'm not concern about myself, but I'm more concern for Weisheng if the third master knows what happened."

Deming, "But Weisheng has a point. Since Teacher Lee is part of the Fang family, why doesn't he attend the family gathering?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang, "Because he can't." He started walking down the street.

Deming quickly followed behind Guozhao Zhiqiang. He grabbed Guozhao Zhiqiang's hand, "What do you mean by he can't?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang said, "Let's go eat." He walked over and sat at a table on the street.

Deming sat across from him and asked, "Why are you avoiding the question?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang, "I am not."

Deming, "Then answer?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang, "I did. He can't."

Deming, "Why can't he?"

Standing beside the table is Hu Dingxiang. Hu Dingxiang said softly, "Zhiqiang…May I?"

Guozhao Zhiqiang looked up at Hu Dingxiang. He noticed that after so many years, Hu Dingxiang has not changed much. He was still as handsome as the first day he met him in that abandoned temple. He admitted that he still has some feelings for Hu Dingxiang in his heart, after all, Hu Dingxiang was his first kiss. Guozhao Zhiqiang nodded. Then Hu Dingxiang sat down with Guozhao Zhiqiang and Deming.

Hu Dingxiang asked, "How should I address you?" He looked at Deming.

Deming replied, "Dong Enlai."

Hu Dingxiang, "It's nice to meet you, Childe Dong. I'm..."

Deming replied, "Hu Dingxiang, the second son of Leader Hu of Snow Sector, Zhiqiang's old lover."

Guozhao Zhiqiang noticed that Deming was holding his chopsticks tightly.

Deming complained, "I won't wait for you after I finish eating." He looked at Guozhao Zhiqiang, and Hu Dingxiang disappeared toward the back alley.

In the back alley. Guozhao Zhiqiang stood about ten feet away from Hu Dingxiang. Guozhao Zhiqiang asked, "What would you like to talk about?"

Hu Dingxiang coaxed, "I just want to take a closer look at you."

Guozhao Zhiqiang, "Childe Hu, what exactly do you want to talk about?"

Hu Dingxiang asked, "Zhiqiang, do you have a good relationship with that young man? You said you would never love others again."

Guozhao Zhiqiang, "It doesn't matter if I choose to love again, it's none of your concern."

Hu Dingxiang, "We all know what's deep in our hearts. We love each other. We are each other's first love. Why avoid it? I can't avoid it any longer."

Hu Dingxiang asked, "Who are you?"

"I can be whoever you want me to be," the voice giggled. "Say yes, and I'll be your strongest hunter. Say yes, and I'll take out your enemies for you."

Hu Dingxiang gnashed his teeth, "Show yourself."

Hu Dingxiang saw a dark figure walking out from the wall. Hu Dingxiang widened his eyes and took out a talisman paper from his inner robe. He asked, "Who are you?"

The dark shadow giggled and said, "I'm Qingyu."

As Guozhao Zhiqiang walked to the street, only to see Deming still sitting at the table waiting for him. He walked past a vendor and saw a black jade bracelet. There are fifteen black jade beads and a cloud pendant in the red string of the bracelet. He grabbed the bracelet, paid the sale person, and tucked the bracelet inside his robe. He walked back to the table and sat down.

Guozhao Zhiqiang looked at the upset Deming, then looked at the table, most of the food was gone. He asked, "What happened to my portion of food?

Deming, "I don't know."

Guozhao Zhiqiang smiled and shook his head and started to eat.

Yang Bao walked into the medicine shop, and he saw Tam Qiu weighing medicine on the counter. Yang Bao walked towards her. He put a handkerchief on the table. Then he said, "This is for you."

Tam Qiu took the handkerchief and opened it. Inside the handkerchief is a green jade bracelet. She hesitated and said, "This is..."

Yang Bao, "I saw it and I thought it look pretty."

Tam Qiu thanked Yang Bao. Xiao Mei came out of the back room. Yang Bao walked up to her and gave Xiao Mei a jade bracelet. He smiled at Xiao Mei and walked toward the back.

Xiao Mei handed Tam Qiu some dried medicine, "These herbs are well dried, you can put them away." She saw the jade bracelet. "Second Senior Brother also gave you one?"

Tam Qiu nodded.

Xiao Mei smiled, "Second senior brother is very shy. If Ah Qiu like him, Ah Qiu should make the first move."

Tam Qiu, "He likes me as his junior."

Xiao Mei, "Do you like him because he is your senior?"

Tam Qiu, "I think he likes you."

Xiao Mei chuckled, "Nonsense."

Yang Bao walked into the store and gave Tam Qiu more dry medicine. He looked at Xiaomei and said, "Xiaomei, Brother Fu is waiting for you."

Tam Qiu shyly handed the jade bracelet to Yang Bao and said, "Put it on for me."

Yang Bao took the jade bracelet and put it on Tam Qiu's left wrist.

Tam Qiu teased, "So, the strongest swordsman of Guozhao Hunters confessed to a lady like this?"

Yang Bao smiled and said, "Yes, do you still want me to bend my knees?"

Tam Qui blushed, "I won't talk to you anymore." She took the herbs and continued to weigh the medicine.
