<p>After meeting Sophie at Recreation Day, Kristen invited Sophie and her family to their place the next day for dinner. Everyone was extremely excited for the dinner. Isaiah and Brian would be meeting after 8 years. As Isaiah plated the dishes, Kristen rechecked that the dishes, the utensils and everything else was in perfect order.</p>

<p>The doorbell rang at 7 in the evening, signaling that the Kavinsky's had arrived. They had bought a bouquet of lilies, seeing as they were Kristen's favorite and had kept them in a vase on the dining table while they went to sit on the sofas in the hall and poured themselves a drink. Adrian and Seraphina had run upstairs to Seraphina's room to talk as the adults tried to catch up to whatever had happened in the past eight years.</p>
