<p>The day for the first hearing arrived soon. Sean had prepared the opening statements and the arguments that he would present at the court and had told Seraphina to brace herself for whatever was about to come. Sia was to stay over at her grandparents- Aaron and Victoria's place while Sean and Seraphina went to court. The three got dressed and Sean dropped Sia off at his parents' before driving to court with Seraphina. Aaron and Victoria bid them luck for the hearing. On reaching court, Sean and Seraphina found the courtroom in which the hearing was supposed to be held and walked inside in order to settle down. Seraphina looked up from her seat to see Sophie and Brian on the opposite side of the room, a disappointed and furious look on their faces. Adrian who had arrived in the courtroom along with his lawyer, Mr. Crawford, adorned an evil smirk on his face as he looked in Seraphina's direction.</p>
