"I'll be late, but I'll surely pick you up later. Wait for me, please! 


I just finished my class for today when I got Red's message. Why would he pick me up when we already talked last night? I don't even have work at the restaurant today because my schedule is just Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 


I quickly typed a reply to Red and explained that I don't have work today and don't bother himself picking me up at the restaurant anymore. 


In less than a minute, I received a text from him. 


Okay, but where are you now? Are you still here at school? 


I'm here at school, but I don't have plans to wait for him. I need to get home and discussed Manang about my part-time job. I don't want to tell Mom and Uncle about it because they will surely not agree with this decision. 


I chose not to reply anymore. I don't see any reason as to why he's doing these things for me anyway. 


"Going home already?" I lifted my head and saw Yuseff.
