Caroline
After getting engaged to a man she's never met. Caroline moves to the Van Estate, where she realizes that her husband to be, is not who he seems.

"Caroline!"
The voice of her pursuer calls out to her, as she turns down the darkly lit corridor, hoping to elude them. But the footsteps only get closer, and closer. She runs down the end of the corridor, to a crossroad.
"Right or left?"
The footsteps get closer.
"Was the exit right or left?!"
She thinks to herself, as the voice once again calls out to her.
"Caroline! Come out, come out, wherever you are!"
"Right!"
She turns down the right corridor and runs as fast as she's able. As she gets closer, a bright light shines through. Causing her to almost leap with joy, she had chosen the right way! Or at least that's what she had thought. As she gets closer she realizes that this is in fact a dead end. The light was coming from a window; taking up the majority of the wall. She turns to go back, but she's met with a familiar pair of vibrant, purple eyes, staring back at her from the end of the hallway. She freezes in fear, as the figure grins, and calmly walks towards her.
"Found you."

Intriguing! I like how you playfully wrote the chapters giving an insight into the beautiful romance to watch out for. but isn't too early for you to paywall the chapters? Well, the author knows what she's doing so I trust what surprises you have for us! Wish you all the best!

This book really takes it's time to walk you through Caroline's experience of arrival. I takes some patience to read. But if you love fully detailed books, then this is for you.

Very interesting setup for the story! I wasn't expecting a mysterious beginning for a romance noel, but it's a welcome difference! Th author's descriptions are real, and grounded to make them feel a lot more down to Earth, and the use of words really helps the main character and the characters around them feel a lot more natural than some other novels. Really liked what I've read so far!

This is brilliance captured in words by a very talented author. I love everything about this book. From it's characters to it's plot and from it's world to its cover page. Everything in this story fits like a jigsaw puzzle with all the right piece. Thumbs up to the author for taking time to consider her readers and giving them what they deserve. A masterpiece holds you till it end. So please do take time thinking about whether to read it for that time might be best spent enjoying it.

I was captivated by the prologue. It is a very excellent style of writing and a very good pacing. I really like reading the prologue as we were open to the character's small attitude and the likes.[img=recommend]
I really enjoy the style, it has a very Victorian feel to it and it’s really well done. I also like how right away we know, this just isn’t right. If I had to guess I’d say the dad owes the Count and the daughter is payment.
