I groggily flopped down the bench as I reached the university park.

"Did Yuri tire you out last night?" I smacked Jay as I heard her question.

I yawned and scratched my eyes. My cousins and I had a small party last night.

"No, idiot. I was with my cousins last night." I answered and shoved my head on my arms.

My first subject starts at 8 am and it's only 6 but I wanna see my girl before she goes to her class which starts at 7.

"Hey…" I looked up and saw the most beautiful girl—aside from my mom—that I have ever seen.

"Hey, babe." I replied and smiled.

She planted a soft kiss on my lips before sitting beside me.

"Oh come on, I'm a third wheel here?" Jay whined.

I just stuck my tongue out at her.

"I'll call CL." She fished for her phone and started typing.

I turned my head and stared at the beauty resting beside me. Her long black hair is bouncing over her back as she moves.

"Stop staring." I chuckled and snaked my arms around her waist before pulling her closer to me. I rested my head on her shoulder and watch her read some Math-related books.

Like what she planned way back high school, Yuri pursued engineering and a minor in business. While I decided to pursue business to help my mom. I made a promise to her that I'll continue her business when she retires. I'll set aside my own desires for once to pay back my mom's sacrifices for the three of us.

"Yuri is being too advanced." Jay butted in, making me glance at her.

"Why?" I asked and gazed on the book.

"That's for our semi-finals already." She pointed at the book in Yuri's hands. They got most of their classes together since both of them are in the same program.

"I'll be busy again, or more like busier. DYP wants me to manage a new song, and UG scheduled a meeting with me too." Yuri stated and rested her book on the table.

She'll take special classes again because of this. Unlike the past, DYP let Yuri manage the whole comeback. Starting from the artist's songs up to the music videos and performances. Plus, a lot of entertainment companies wants her to write their artists' songs too.

She also got offers from a lot of magazines, as their cover. Aside from her producing career, she started directing too.

"What? Don't they have their own songwriters?" Jay asked.

"I don't know, DYP wants me to handle the artists." I felt sad as I saw my girl's pouty lips. She wants to create music but it's somehow tiring for her yet she doesn't want to stop. It's her passion, she loves music.

"You'll do well, my love." I spoke and smiled at her.

"You two are so cringey!" Jay rolled her eyes and stood.

"Let's go! It's almost 7 am!" Jay pulled Yuri from my hands.

"No!" I dramatically said. We're like reenacting a scene from some famous artwork because of this.

"Stop it, you two will see each other later." Jay cut my trance off.

Yuri waved at me and I did the same. I took out my phone and looked at my wallpaper. It's our photo when I graduated Senior High School.

It was her first year in college too. Also the first time we studied at different school. I chuckled as I remembered when one of her course mates thought that I'm her younger sister.

It was Friday afternoon, I headed to her school so I can pick her up. My mom let me drive once I had my driver's license. I was waiting for her outside the school premises since I can't enter. Then, she went out of the gate with some girls. She didn't saw me at first but her course mate pointed me.

Yuri's face was so priceless when she heard her course mate call me her sister.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Kath tapped my shoulder.

"Sitting?" A smack landed on my head.

"Don't be ridiculous. We all know you're sitting." CL spoke and both of them sat on the opposite side.

"So, care to answer my question?" Kath looked at me again.

"I'm doing nothing. Just waiting for the first subject to start." The three of us took the same path but only CL was the one who got a different schedule from us.

"Let's skip it." Kath suggested. I face palmed as I heard her.

"I'm not a brainy one like you two." I replied. Unlike them, I need to drown myself in my notes whenever an exam is coming.

"Oh come on, just for once come with us." Kath added. I firmly shook my head. I don't want to disappoint my mom.

"Let her, dumbass." CL butted in while looking at her mirror. Probably checking out her face again.

"Have you seen something different there, Clyde?" Kath mocked CL, which made me laugh.

I just watched them bicker. These two can't really go well together.

"Stop now, it's time for class." I stood and left the two of them there.

I walked to my first subject silently. Students, left and right, watched me made my way to the classroom. I'm used to their stares.

I immediately sat at the back of the room. Soon after, Kath entered the door and sat beside me.

"Why did you leave me with that big-eyed woman?" I chuckled at her question.

"Why can't the two of you get along well?" She just rolled her eyes at my words. I didn't know why they are like this actually. They were getting along well way back in high school but when we reached our second year of college, they started to bicker a lot.

We fixed our positions when the professor came in. It's another boring two-hour class but what else can I do? I chose this path so I must do well.

I placed my left hand under my chin as I start to take down notes as the professor speak. Writing the important terms and meanings. Along with some graph illustrations and some formulas.

"This is so boring." Kath whispered to me. I shushed her and continued writing.

"I wanna sleep." She spoke again. I covered her mouth and write again.

"Hmm hmm hmm." Kath held my hand and removed it from her mouth. I heard her catch her breath.

"Are you trying to kill me?!" She half-shouted. I looked at her and signaled her to shut up.

"Let's—hmm hmm." I took out a packaging tape from my bag and put it on her mouth.

"Shush." I signaled her and she finally settled on her chair, arms crossed while a tape is covering her mouth.

I smirked at what I did. Now, I can write peacefully.

I glanced at the board and quickly wrote down the things before the professor erase it completely. That's one of the many differences in high school and college, way back high school the teachers adjust for the students but here in college if the students doesn't adjust they'll fail.
