I continued playing the notes and pressed the record button on the computer to record the notes I made. I set the keyboard to another type of voice before pressing some keys again to match the previous notes. Aside from that, I added a few beats too.

"You can create music!" I jolted when I heard that shout. I turned and saw my uncle.

"Don't joke around, I used to have a vocal training way back then." I rolled my eyes at him. We're practically close and most of the times we fool around each other.

"Yeah, you also attended dance classes. Come on, sign a contract." He jokingly said the last part.

"Nah, try to hit my pitch first." We used to play baseball and he never got the chance to hit my pitch.

"What a silly kid, let me listen with your work." He pressed the play button and moved his head along the beat.

"Enter the booth and add some lyrics on these." He sat at the swivel chair and I just rolled my eyes before entering the recording booth.

I wore the headphones and positioned myself in front of the mics.

"Don't expect too much, uncle. I haven't sang in years." I spoke, he just laughed at my words and played the tune.

I bobbed my head along the beat for eight seconds and started humming along it. I made a powerful intro and after the first chorus I set, I started to rap. I let out my deep voice as I groove the tune with my rap then hit a high note at the end of the rap part. I sang the chorus I sang earlier and did some adlibs along the instrumentals and another chorus before it came to an end.

I went out and saw the four ladies with their eyes widen. I have told Yuri before that I can rap but she never heard me.

"This song is good to go, just add some adlibs if you want to." My uncle spoke. I entered to booth again and added some on the song.

After a couple of minutes, I went out and uncle pressed the play button.

"I didn't move anything in this." He raised his hand as the intro play.

I did some freestyle moves with my hands as I listen to the beat. I don't care if there are people who's watching me.

"You're really good to go, only a contract is missing." Uncle sighed and shook his head.

"Not gonna happen." I spoke and sent the song to my phone.

"Can we add this as a special track on the album?" Yuri spoke out of the blue.

"Ask the producer, Yuri." Uncle eyed me.

I don't see anything wrong so why not?

"Go on, this will serve as a demo track." I replied.

"The company will pay you." Uncle added.

"So that's it! The album's complete!" Chaeyoung-unni cheered.

"What?" I am confused.

"We were writing a special track but we got no more ideas. Luckily, you came today." Tzuyu-unni answered.

"I don't even remember what I sang." I laughed.

"We'll listen to it and write it down." Dahyun-unni spoke and smiled.

"Do you have anything to do today?" Yuri asked me.

Do I have?

I thought for a moment before shaking my head as an answer.

"Good then, we'll supervise the recording." She smiled at me and they started to listen to the track.

"I'll leave you now. Vin…" I glanced at uncle.

"Decide what name will be listed for you." My eyebrows furrowed.

"What does he mean?" I ask Yuri.

"Your name will be written in the album as one of the song producers. Both of our names will be listed there. I use 'Yurisses', as my stage name. What's yours?" I nodded as she explained.

What name will I use?

'Aikovin' is too used for me, my aunts and uncles call me that also Yuri call me that sometimes. My friends call me 'Vin' and my cousins call me 'Harri'.

My eyebrow raised as an idea popped on my head.

What if I use my second name? My full second name.

"I guess, I'll use 'Harriette'." I answered to my girl's question.

"Nice." She smiled and helped the SMC-unnis to write down the lyrics.

Most people lose the opportunity to do things they like because of lack of confidence. People tend to let the chance go just because they think they're not really that good or they don't deserve it which is kind of sad.

Also most people lose their confidence because of others too. The way some people judge, critic, and degrade others affect their confidence so much.

Imagine after finally being proud about your work but then suddenly a single person will say that it's ugly. That thing hurts, as a victim of that I relate so much.

But I realized, no matter what you do some people will always degrade you and your work. So why not continue instead of stopping just because of them. There are far more people who will appreciate your work, don't let that single person's degradation pull you down. It won't bring any goodness in your life.

"We're done!" Yuri's voice cut me off from my thoughts.

"Let's listen to the song again." Chaeyoung-unni spoke and the trio started to work on their own while Yuri stood beside me.

"Mid-terms is near." She spoke. Yes, also Christmas is near. Just some weeks and a month left.

"Yeah, what are your plans?" I asked her.

"I'll take the exam ahead of time." She answered and hugged me.

I hugged her back and rested my arms on her back.

"What are these?" She poked the red spots on my neck.

"Uhmm." How do I say it?

"Did you eat chicken?!" She pulled the denim jacket from me and it exposed more red spots.

"Jay offered me a sandwich, I didn't know it was a chicken one so I took a bite." I answered.

"Did you already put some cream in these spots?" She touched my arm.

"Yeah, Jay and Mav-unni helped me." I answered.

"Put some again later before you sleep." I pouted at her.

"Are you still busy after this?" I asked her.

"Yeah, Nayeon-unni's album is next." She answered and planted a kiss on my lips.

"Can't I have you for a day?" I asked again.

I miss her. I miss her so much. I really miss my girl.

"I don't think I can give you a day soon, babe." My heart saddened at the idea.

"But I'll spend some time with you, just not a whole day." I nodded at her statement and leaned on her shoulder.

We stayed in that position for a few minutes before the trio called us two.

"Tell us if we divided the parts successfully." Chaeyoung-unni told the two of us.

She gave us the paper with the names at the stanzas and some lines. I nodded at the parts.

"Let's try." I replied and stood. Yuri stood beside me as I sat on the swivel chair. They entered the booth one by one and started singing to the assigned parts to them.
