Chapter 6

Chapter 6

I woke up early because I plan to visit my family today. I took a shower and got dressed then I went to Raven's room.

I was about to knock when I remember what happened last night.

Gosh! I think I know his mood for today. I let out a deep sigh and exhaled.

I knock on his door.

"Raven," I called.

As expected, he did not answer. I think he's still asleep or he's playing a baby, throwing tantrums and any childish acts.

I knocked again. But still, nothing's responding. He's still mad. Of course, knowing him he would sulk whenever he wants if he's not pleased with something. This brat is always stressing me!

But somehow, I guess it's also my fault. So yeah, I think I need to good luck myself for consoling someone older than me.

I knocked again and again until he finally opened it.

"What?" I can sense the anger in his tone.

"I'm going to see my family today, are you coming with me?" I asked calmly.

"I don't know." he frowned in response.

"I'm asking nice. Do you want to go or not?"

"I'm mad at you!" he answered straight forward.

See? He hasn't moved on from what I did last night. And I need to apologize for that.

I look at him and finally spoke my apology.

"I'm sorry, Raven. I just lost my appetite last night because I suddenly felt bad. I didn't mean to behave like that." I told him sincerely.

He raised his peevish brows and twitch his lips.

"Why did you lose your appetite? It's annoying!" he muttered and sat down suddenly on the floor.

I was stunned.

"Raven, stand up!"

Aish! I think I'm facing a five-year-old child.

He ignored me and just bowed his head to his knees.

"C'mon Raven, don't be stubborn!" I reprimanded again.

"No! I'm mad! I'm mad! I'm mad!" he repeatedly complained.

I also sat down to match him.

"I'm sorry Raven, I know I've been bad. Sorry..." I consoled.

I wish I didn't behave like that yesterday, so I wouldn't stress myself like this. But I also have a guilty conscience for what I did last night, because if he was the one who did that to me, maybe I might as well get mad at him.

But, how would I console him? It's very awkward.

"Am I disgusting to you, Haley? Tell me," he asked weakly while still bowing to his knees.

"No, you're not. My fault, sorry..."

He raised his head and looked at me.

"I'm really mad. I'm so mad." and there were a few tears in his eyes.

What the!?

My eyes widened in shock! He's really mad?!

Unbelievable! He even hiccups a bit.

"Raven, I'm sorry..." I tried to reach him but he advances backward.

"You know I was so happy yesterday because I can finally watch a movie with you, I'm happy because you are with me but you're not happy to be with me! I do not know why you have no appetite, I feel like I am not fun to be with!" he said sadly.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just spaced out yesterday because I suddenly felt bad."

He leaned over and frowned.

"You should have said right away that you feel bad. Hmph! I'm still mad." he said and angrily looking at me.

I scratched my head because I don't know how to make him feel better! It would have been better if he's a child because I could bother with a toy. But... hays...he's not something like that!

"What do you want me to do just to forgive me?" I give up the question.

I hope he won't order me to hug him as it lasts for a---

"Hug. I'm still mad. Hug me!"

Just what the fudge?! And why I am so overacting? It's not even a big deal, but it's horrifying for me.

"Huh? Raven, am I required to hug you just to get rid of your anger?" I asked nervously.

I really wanna avoid having a physical attachment to him very close because my heartbeat seems like it was chased by a dozen of dogs.

"You can not?" he seemed to cry again with the question.

Hays! I had no choice but to gently hug him. And here exactly in front of his door. Nice scenario!

When I'm finally hugging him, he hugged me back which made my heart fluttering again.

I hope he won't notice my crazy heartbeat!

Minutes later I can feel that he's calmed and feeling better.

"I want to hug you forever Haley, it feels better than the taste of milk," he whispered in my ear.

Oh boy, don't be like this...

"Raven..." I sound begging. Begging him to let go of me because I think my system is starting to have feelings for him.

"I'm so mad at you but your hug makes me calm. What is this feeling Haley?"

I do not know the answer to his question. Because that's what I also feel right now. I don't wanna assume too much for him, but I'm sure that I am starting to have feelings for this guy.

He said he feels the same... but he said he has a crush. I don't know!

I remember again when he said he has a crush. I don't know but it makes me upset, that's the reason why we are fighting today!

"Maybe because it's comforting you?" I just answered.

I felt him nodding a bit and then he ended our hug.

"Yeah, that's it. I'm sorry Haley for being stubborn right now. But can I hug you anytime I want?"

"Is that okay?" I think that is not fair, right? He'll hug me to please himself, and if he does that, my heart will be at risk!

"Yes, for me it's fine. And I'm the only one who's allowed to hug you, get it, Haley?"

"But ---"

"No buts please. I'll get dressed, we're going to your place," he said in a serious tone.

I was surprised by his sudden seriousness.

He stood up and pulled me upright.

I left his room and went back to my room. And as soon as I entered my room, It has sent me realizations. It's as if the long hours of darkness have already been lightened by the spark of the sunrise. Like an old painting that was covered by plenty of dust and when it got wiped, It has finally shown its masterpiece.

It is a realization that answers, like how it answers your curiosity over something you wanna find out.

I just realized that... I like Raven. That Mr. Childish made me fall for him. Yes, he got me to fall for him!

But the question is, will that childish boy will like me too?

Judging his traits to me, I think he's just too innocent to feel that.
