SURVIVAL PART 17: The plan

We went down to that little room through which we all had been in order to meet with the man that made the proposal. Entering his office, live images of the city could be seen on different screens in front of which he was standing.

Me – Is that the city? why are you looking at it?

Man – For the same reason which made me find you. We keep looking at the present time footages, hoping to find survivors that we can bring back here. But at this point, I’m doubtful that anyone can be found alive, even though you were found when we thought all hope was lost.

Me – believe me, we also thought all hope was lost at some point.

Man – I believe you made a decision.

I looked at everyone, looking for a final confirmation of their decision, and they all nodded slightly to re-confirm their answer, leading to respond on everyone’s behalf.

Me – We’ll do it, but I do have a request. My friends: Maya, Rebekah, Kayra and Aayat, they also want to help.
