AFTERMATH PART 1: Another Decision to make.

We had reached America safe and sound, stayed in hospital for a few days to get a more in-depth health care. We took some time to heal, both physically and mentally. They made us see psychiatrists to make sure we had not been too affected by the war. You could guess that we had been.

After a month making sure we were good to go medically and psychologically, we were out of hospital, staying in some hotel. Soon, we would probably have to go back home. I was in my bed, thinking about everything that had happened, and looked at Jace who was standing by the window, quiet. Little Aayat was asleep in her bed.

Me – What is it Jace? The war is over, the guy that hurt you so bad is dead, what are you worried about?

Jace – It’s over. You’re probably going to go back home. Where will we go? Aayat and I, we don’t have a home anymore. The one place we called home is now gone. Where will we go Ques?

Me – You could come with me, if I go back.
