The stone walls stretched long, giving a suffocating pressure to those who would have the unfortunate chance to wander these halls. If not for the torches flickering dimly, it might've not been different from a prison cell due to its grinding and dark atmosphere.
Heli Vanhatten had long been numbed to the biting chill that enveloped the place after trudging the same path so many times. Rather than minding the atmosphere, it would be more accurate to fear the person that rules this place.
A person that don't deserve to be called a human anymore, but a monster in a human skin—someone who had long thrown their humanity to the dregs for their vile and blasphemous ambition.
