Since they are both in danger, they are both trying their hardest to get their lives back to normal. They thought everything was good at one point, but things quickly became more complicated, and all they can do now is wonder when their bad luck would come to an end.

"Will Lucas come back here, Xari, Nate?" Dad suddenly asked us as we watched TV. I don't how to answer that so I looked at Nate on the other couch who was just whistling. 


"Maybe not, Dad. We don't know..." I answered. Nate, then, stopped whistling and smirked at what I said. 


"That guy has the money, he probably found a new place to stay." He said while still smirking. I rolled my eyes at him. 


"That's a pity, he didn't even say goodbye to us." Dad said again and continued watching. 


He didn't ask us again after that so I went to the kitchen. I'll just eat, even though we finished eating a while ago. 


"You're hungry again?" Nate asked me when he caught me eating chips here. 


"Is it forbidden to be hungry?" He hit me on the forehead before sitting in front of me. He looks like he's waiting for me to say something. I rolled my eyes again, did he followed me here because of that? I don't even have something to say.
