This story of many unfortunate and intertwined souls happened a long time ago.
It was a while after the Titans had lost the war and the Gods had migrated from Mount othrys to mount olympus... that the internal rage and struggle started a wave of mass destruction across the universe...
Humans forgot the Gods over time, dragging elder Gods from their throne of power and lifted minor Gods who had sowed seeds on earth for their survival.
The hierarchy of power started another chaos bringing war between them putting mount olympus in a state of anarchy.
While all of this was went on, some Elder Gods maintained power as they were constantly worshipped by beings they had created on Earth.
The most famous was the Goddess of the moon. Her name was never known, but Rumour had it that her only daughter, Selene, the Goddess of sight was loved by her so much , she was named after her. So she was dubbed Celeste Goddess of the moon.
The Goddess loved her daughter selene so much that she did everything to keep her safe and unaware of the crumbling system and the wayward and dangerous Gods...but something she couldn't account for and would later come back to haunt her was her daughter's own curiosity.

On a cold night, selene had wandered away from her palace, without her mother's knowledge and ventured near the lake of Achelous.
She sat on a pear shaped rock and took in the view, unaware of the dark silhouette skulking in the corner.
The cherry blossoms surrounding the waters were scattered prettily, painting a pretty pink picture.
She had never been tempted to disobey her mother before, but she couldn't bring herself to regret it.
She stilled herself as she heard rustling feet. She registered the change in environment and held her breath out of fear.
Her interactions with Gods have been very limited and depending on who it is, she might be in grave danger.
A male emerged finally from the trees and her heart caught in her throat.
She had never seen a God so beautiful.
Ocean blue eyes stared at the lake. He hadn't noticed her presence or if he did, he didn't care.
A long fur shawl hung from his shoulder all the way down across the grass.
He looked....cold and empty...
"Hello," she spoke up before she could talk herself out of it. Her voice shaky, unsure of his intent.
Better to establish contact than startle him into anger.
His eyes snapped to hers and she shivered instantly, little bumps lining her skin. Scared of her body's reaction she stepped off the rock abruptly.
She did not hear him move, but she felt him beside her.
How did he get here so fast?
Was he perhaps the God of speed?
She looked up quickly and her amber eyes snapped to his blue.
They looked so cold they almost burned. His fiery aura was too intimidating, she took a step back unknowingly.
She felt lightheaded at the proximity of him.
"H-hello," she breathed out again, her eyes searching his face.
He said nothing, instead he stared at her, he seemed satisfied like he had squashed some form of curiosity. He stripped the fur shawl off his back and placed it on her and walked away swiftly in long strides.
She watched as his form disappeared still trying to grasp what happened.
The coat was warm on her cold skin, bringing her a new level of comfort. The scent overwhelmed her and she felt warm in her nether regions and moist between the thighs.
For some reason she wanted to hold a conversation with him. She rarely had anyone to talk to, but she doubts he would've stayed at her request.
She hugged the coat closer to her form and smiled as she breathed in his scent.
She would always remember that night as the beginning of an unhealthy obsession called first love.

Selene believed there was some truth to Dianne's words now.
She was truly a horrible Queen.
As she walked the hall to the palace court room, she was forced to come to terms with it. The wide hall was lined with palace staff and royal guards not excluding ones from the Eastern kingdom.
The looks she recieved were less than welcoming and that was sugarcoating.
They hated her. It was plain in their eyes.
She felt tired enough to give up and let them do whatever they pleased to her.
The hall felt long as she tried to calm the sickening feeling in her stomach.
To be fair, she never asked to be queen .
All she wanted was a normal mate and normal pups.
She didn't want the responsibility...but thinking back she hadn't really done much to stop it not to tall of anything queen worthy. She hadn't entertained the Elites or visited the masses more than once and Carlisle took care of most of her duties.... but she hadn't asked him to.
All she could think of were excuses as they piled in her mind but it all boiled down to one undeniable truth... she wasn't a good queen and if the North believed she killed their king, nay if the entire werewolf population believed it. There was nowhere she could run.
She finally arrived infront of two largely decorated doors guards in tow.
She smiled sadly as she thought of her near dead mate.
Damn if she didn't miss him.
