**Kyla's POV**
Students danced freely to the beat of the music, whereas I stood on a spot unable to stop the tears from falling. A few eyes fell on me, and noticed my tears. They three mocking glares at me, I ignored them and kept on crying.
I get it that things were hurting, I understood her outburst, but that still doesn't make it better. In fact, it hurts me even more.
We were best friends. We got through things together, solved problems together, yet she threw that over a guy. A guy I do not like, and will never look at. She knew me all to well. At least, I thought she did.
Stein is not my type. Yet after all this, she believes I will fall for him.
I finally swiped the tears from my cheeks. The next thought that crept into my mind was how to get home.
Riley brought me here, so technically, I had no means of getting back home.
My house is pretty far from here. It would take close to one hour if I go on foot. I had no other option. The best thing for Riley, and I now will be space. It would be best to talk to her on Monday, give her the weekend to cool off.
Hopefully, the alcohol, and the thrill got to her, by Monday she would feel better, and be ready to listen to me.
I stood at the highway with no means of returning, the goal was to drink, so I might as well start doing that.
In about thirty minutes, my curfew would be up. I would be grounded for life, what do I have to lose?
I walked at the sidewalk sipping as much alcohol as I can.
"Need a ride."
A car pulled over. My vision was pretty blurred, so I didn't really get to see who was inside.
On getting a closer look, It was Tony.
Stein, and Richard weren't the only two "bad boys" in school. In fact, they grouped themselves in two's. On the other hand there was Tony, and Ryder.
Although if it were up to me, Stein, and Richard would definitely take the trophy on whose hotter.
They made a game out of everything, and everyone.
Obviously, now that Stein, and Richard are after me, automatically, I become a person of interest to the other two people.
"No, I don't, thank you."
I responded, and kept moving. He kept driving behind me, following at a safe distance.
"Didn't you hear what I said, I don't want a ride!"
I fired at him in annoyance.
"I'm definitely not going in between four boys. I think I'll take a pass on that."
I rolled my eyes and continued walking. Twenty minutes till I'm dead. My aunt and uncle would have a field day telling my parents exactly what I did tonight.
"Just get in. I can tell you don't have a ride. I don't want anything at all, is it so hard to believe someone wishes to help you for once."
"No."
I responded in a firm tone increasing my pace.
Just then, my legs began to feel wobbly, my hands were shaking. The bottle slipped from my grip, and came crashing on the ground.
I couldn't see properly as everything was getting dizzy. I felt like I was going to pass out soon.
Immediately, Tony stepped out of the car, striding towards me. As he reached where I was, I shut my eyes nearly hitting the ground.
"I got you."
I heard him say, carrying me in baby bridal style towards his car before shutting it.
"How do you know my house."
I mumbled sleepily.
"I know everything about you, Kyla Malik."
He responded, and I closed my eyes too tired to think.
After a while, I felt the car pull over.
He stepped out picking me up again.
I checked my watch, and I had just five minutes left.
"It's okay. I can go on my own."
I protested standing on two feet.
"Piece of advice Kyla, do whatever you can to get out of this bet and fast,"
"Goodnight."
He added, and surprisingly pecked my cheeks.
"You look so beautiful tonight."
He said before pulling away and getting into his car.
I stood perplexed for a few seconds before finally turning around and getting into my house.
"Right on time."
I heaved a large sigh, I did not miss curfew.
"So much for a first high school party."
I dragged my tired self up the stairs and into my room.
