It has been a week since Vin and her brothers stayed at our house. Her mom would constantly call and check them. They're working on Vin's father's case. Dad let the Shin siblings stay here until they capture that man. It's only a few more days before Christmas. I guess they will celebrate with us.

"Spacing out again." I felt a flick on my forehead as I start to get lost in my thoughts as usual.

"It's my talent." I jokingly said and she just face palmed.

"What are your plans before Christmas?" She asked me while looking intently on the Christmas decorations here in the living room.

"Probably gonna enjoy outside?" I am really not sure about what am I gonna do before Christmas.

"Can I join you? Can I? Can I?" I smiled at her silliness and nodded.

"Noona!" I heard three voices coming from my brother's room. We both rushed up and opened the door.

"Why?"

"What?"

We looked at each other and laughed at ourselves.

"My play station won't start, we want to play." My younger brother showed his consoles to me.

I checked the cords if they were plugged properly and noticed two wires that are misplaced. I asked them to pull the television table for me. After fixing it up and switching it on, they thanked us.

"So you're an all-around helper in this house, I see." She caressed her imaginary beard that made me chuckle.

"Yeah, sometimes an engineer or a technician or a chef."

"You can cook?! I wanna taste it, I want to!" She excitedly said as I finish my statement.

"I'm to lazy to do it." I truthfully said but deep inside I just want her to convince me.

"It's unfair!" She pouted. "I let you taste the food I cooked. But you don't want me to taste yours." She continued sulking and sat at the couch. She crossed her arms like a little kid and believe me, it was one of the most adorable things I see.

"Yeah, right. Go and sulk more." I teasingly said and she obeyed it.

"Cook for me, Yuri. Pretty please!" She used that puppy eyes on me.

"Not gonna work for me. Try again, princess." I said and she sulked more. I laughed at her sulking face and took a photo of it. I pinched her cheeks afterwards and sat beside her.

"Why is this babe sulking, huh?" I tried to tickle her but she nudged my hands. I chuckled and smiled in defeat.

"Fine, I'll cook for you." Her face immediately lit up after hearing those words from me. "Only if this babe is behaving well." I continued.

She sat straight and smiled at me. Oh gosh, how can I resist such adorable act. I shook my head before heading to the kitchen. I saw Mama there and asked her if I can use the kitchen for the mean time because I got a sulky babe with me.

I put on my apron and took out the ingredients I needed from the fridge. I washed the ingredients and those utensils to be used. She sat on the high chair facing the countertop and watched me cook. I sliced the ingredients in front of her and she was just watching me like a kid. Our gaze met and it felt like a slow-motion. How her eyes blink in slow-motion amazed me. Everything around her went blurry and all I can hear was my heart beating loudly like trying to get out of my chest.

"Yuri!" I was cut off my trance when I heard her voice.

"Yeah?" I hesitantly said and continued slicing.

"You're spacing out again but it's fun to watch you cook. You look so professional and expert in this." I winked at her with boastfulness and she just rolled her eyes jokingly. I started to cook and I felt her piercing eyes staring at my back. All of a sudden it made me feel conscious.

Oh gosh, what is happening to me?

I continued to cook whilst gulping because of the intimidating stare I am getting from the girl sitting near the countertop.

"Stop staring at my back." I had the courage to say and looked at her.

"Oh wow! Do you have eyes on your back?" She looked so amazed with what I just said.

"I feel it, you little brat." I said and smacked her on her head before continuing my work. After almost two hours, I cooked three dishes for her to taste.

She looked at my plating intently and I've never been this nervous in my life, holy cow. She held her fork and stared at me while she took the fork with the food i cooked. She chewed it slowly and her eyes shot wide.

"Oh my gosh! This is delicious!" She tasted the other foods and did two thumbs up. She devoured the food I cooked while I clean the mess I made. I washed it all before taking it back to where it were all placed before and come back to her with a glass of water.

"You...are...so...awesome!" She said while her mouth stuffed with food.

"Don't talk when your mouth is full." I said and watched her eat. She's enjoying I can see.

"Thank you for the amazing foods!" She said and wiped her mouth with the table napkin.

"Glad you enjoyed it. It has been almost a year since I last cooked. I was the one who cooked the foods last Christmas but now I'm too lazy for it so I'm gonna let Mama handle it." I said and threw myself at the couch.

"My tummy is bloated." I looked at her lift her shirt and oh heck, wow! She got abs, okay now is not the time to drool over her abs but I can't help.

"Your tummy is sure bloated and fat." I sarcastically said that made her laugh.

"I got nice abs, right?" Oh gosh, here it is. The cocky Vin Shin. I rolled my eyes at her and flicked her so-called bloated tummy.

"You can tell me if you want to hold it." I face palmed and shook my head at her.

"Stop being cocky, I might lose my temper and pin you." I said but she doesn't seem to be afraid. I decided to tease and pulled her close to me. Her eyes darted wide and her breathing becomes heavy. We're just an inch apart, our breaths hitting each other's face. I decided to play and smirk. I switched our position and now, I'm on top. I crawled to her and sat at her abdomen while pinning her down the couch.

"Jeez, these kids. Go get a room!" I looked around and saw my father and mother smiling. They are looking somewhere else though. I followed their line of sight and it landed on our position. I immediately stood up and opened my mouth.

"It's not what you think it is." I tried to explain but my father's playful smile is distracting me. I groaned and rolled my eyes.

"Continue your business in your room, not here in the living room. Go somewhere private and have fun." My mom's eyebrows wiggled as she said that. Oh gosh, I can't believe my parents. I face palmed and let out a heavy sigh. This is one of a heck embarrassing moment.
