Chapter 19

"So" Professor Keon started "Explain yourselves"

Ms. Nora wasn't joking about what she said the previous night. She took them to professor Keon's office first thing in the morning.

They were all seated in front of him, fearfully anticipating his reaction.

"Let's start with you Ingrid" Keon said "Explain, since you were the one who reported"

Ingrid rambled almost immediately as if this was the moment she had been waiting for all along

"I was just out on the corridor walking around due to my inability to sleep when I saw Helen and Amelia tip toeing down the corridor. Immediately, I went to tell Ms Nora. She thought I was lying at first but I convinced her to follow me. We went downstairs and checked all the classrooms till we caught them''

Professor Keon paused for a moment

"You were out after lights out and you reported them for doing the same thing?"

"Sir, I was walking around. I didn't dare go downstairs. I didn't even encroach into another Hall's territory"
