CHAPTER VII " I'M NOT HER, I'LL STAY WITH YOU "

Aden's P.O.V.

When I arrive at the Hendrix room, it's like someone is partying inside his room.

"So you have bitten Lolita" I sat on the bed while he lay on the floor staring at the ceiling.

"I can't understand why I'm feeling this urge" He said, forehead forming a frown.

"Urge of what? Urge to mark her?" He suddenly sat up looking at me eyes glowing light red "You know you can't, she's not your mate and may I remind you she's not Natalya so stop those feelings of yours if you think you can because she looks like her but they're two different people" I stood up handing him a pill for him.

"Take this and don't come out for a while and please avoid Lolita for now" As I left his room Adam pulled me somewhere.

"Why are you pulling me?" When I manage to pull myself back while standing in front of the library.

"I'm not reading again" I walked away but he pulled me again and this time inside the library to be welcomed by a mess.

"For Lolita's sake put Loli away from here if I'm afraid I might hurt a goblin" He growled his eyes glowing dark yellow.

"Denden, can you take me to Ita, please" Loli came crying while running towards me and embraced my leg.

"I can't take you to her but I'll take you somewhere not here with Adam" I pick her up and dash out of the library before Adam becomes a wolf.

I take her to the other room in front of Lolita's room. When I open it Loli suddenly jumps down from my arms and starts to run around.

"It's your temporary room, for now, Loli, Adam made it for you" Adam made an arrangement to have someone make furniture in Loli's size and put it in her temporary room as Lolita continued to show signs of her powers unleashing.

"Really? Damdam made it" She said smiling widely before running out to where she wanted.

I stay standing when the other door opens, Lolita’s bedroom. She looks at me and I just smile at her.

“How are you feeling?“ She just nodded and continued to stare at me or more in the room I’m standing at.

“Ahh, this is gonna be Lolita’s temporary room for now“ She softly smile, at least she’s smiling “By the way, I remember you don’t have that many things, let’s go buy also I’ll buy some things then you can buy for Loli“ I said waiting for her answer.

“Where will we buy so I can match my clothes for the place“ She asked me and I just said to dress we’re she’s comfortable. I came back a minute later as I also changed and we left letting Luca know. When we were outside the dorm we suddenly stopped.

“So you know how to drive?“ She asked while staring at me and I just scratched my neck, making her giggle a little.

“I guess I’ll drive for now" She enters the car we borrowed from Luca then I follow and then we leave the dorm then the academy.

"I already put the location on the navigator so it won't be hard to go there" I said and she nodded while focusing on the road.

"I remember you said back in the dorm that one room in front of mine will be Loli's temporary room, why is it temporary?" She asked, right, she still doesn't know.

"We'll be moving to a bigger place so we could train better and that's why it's temporary and also I think she needs her room, Uncle your father arranges it for us" I explain to her.

"Where are we going anyway?" Right, I haven't told her.

"We'll go to the mall, particularly a human mall" She suddenly stepped on the break making a sudden halt.

"Are you crazy?! I could lose control there and it’s more dangerous as humans surround us, we’re pulling back“ She said and started the engine but I held her hand back down.

“Trust in this you won’t lose control and if you feel it, tell me immediately and we’ll leave alright“ As I said she bit the inside of her cheek before nodding slowly and starting driving again. For the whole ride she keeps on mumbling some words but I keep on reassuring her.

When we arrive at the mall she keeps distancing herself from humans but after a while, she doesn't mind it at all and just enjoys looking for things.

“How are you used to being around them? I mean being around... humans“ She asked, not forgetting to lower her voice so no one can hear what she said.

“I always go here if I have time like the other day I go here with Adam or I’ll go here with Hendrix “She nods without even looking at me as she’s too focused on a…. Cat? When I look up we’re in front of a pet store.

“Nyx like cats, can we buy a cat“ She looked at me but the problem is she’s too close and I felt my face heating up.

“Y-yes you can“ She ran inside the store and started talking to the staff of the store. Why did I feel nervous suddenly? “No, I can’t feel this towards her“ I said to myself, staring at Lolita.

“What are you doing here“ Lolita pulled me inside and stopped in front of a lot of cats. “What do you think Nyx will like?“ She asked me but I couldn't speak, just continued to stare at her or more like admire her.

“Aden are you listening to me“ She faces me and again it’s way too close so to avoid I just nod quickly and she smiles at me “Then what should I get?“ She asked again and without choice, I pointed towards the cat that caught my attention, a white cat with blue eyes.

“That one it looks like Nyx“ I said even though I think she looks like the cat more than Nyx.

“It does look like my brother, then we’ll get that cat please“ She said to the staff.

“Okay ma’am we’ll just need you to sign some papers then you can bring it home“ The staff said and made Lolita follow her on the counter. After about 15 minutes she came back holding the cat in her arms while I held the cage she bought after some time we decided to eat where animals are allowed to go inside.

“Do you think she can stay with Loli?“ I asked as we took a seat.

“She can Loli, Loli isn’t mischievous anyway, what are we gonna eat?“ She looks at the menu when she stops and looks at me.

“Can you eat their food?“ I immediately understood what she meant, human foods.

“I told you I always go here so I can eat it, even Hendrix and Adam still need to adjust to it“ We kept talking until we finished and decided to go home with a new companion.

“You know I didn’t expect to have fun and I’m glad I didn’t lose control there“ She said while driving home.

“I told you to trust me, If you want we can always go there“ When I said she nodded. The whole ride becomes silent but it isn’t awkward so it’s fine, when we arrive home it’s already 9 pm which gives us hours to prepare before attending class. When we enter inside Lolita screams, calling Nyx.

“Nyx came here“ Thinking it was something bad, Nyx rushed at us with messy hair.

“Look Nyx I got you a cat“ Lolita said smiling widely, the first and the widest smile I see for the time I known her.

“That’s all? Did you call me because of that? Because of nothing?“ Nyx said coldly, making Lolita’s smile drop. I wanted to interfere but I know Nyx doesn't like someone going in his way.

“But I got it for you, isn’t it cute?“ Lolita held the cat close to Nyx but when he didn’t touch it nor look at it Lolita just held it down and let it roam around.

“I thought it was some kind of emergency but it was for nothing, what is ---“ Before Nyx even finished talking Lolita disappeared, black smoke was left where she was standing.

“Nyx I know you don’t like someone getting in your business, but that was too much she was too excited to give it to you, she even spend time thinking about what she should give you why do you have to be cold to her, if you are worried then you are but don’t act like that“ I leave him to stare in a daze to find where Lolita is but I can’t find her anywhere in the house.

“Hope she comes back immediately“ I sigh walking back inside and finding the cat in the cage I dropped a while ago.

“I’ll put you with Loli for now“ I said to the cat before picking it up and the cage and proceeding to Loli’s room to see Loli playing with some toys Adam got for her, when she sees the cat she plays with it carefully and I just knew it was fine to leave them and get inside my room.

Lolita’s P.O.V.

I didn’t know he would react like that and without me knowing I teleported on this rooftop, the academy rooftop. I know it’s prohibited but I decided to stay and sat on the edge. I was alone for a while before feeling someone sitting beside me.

“What are you doing here? If someone caught you here, you can get punished, and luckily I was the one who saw you, I’ll let you go just once but next, I can’t do this again“ I know that voice so much.

“Ethan, can I ask you about something?“ I just hope he won’t lie to me like before.

“Why did you leave? Why did you leave me? You promised you wouldn’t leave me, You said you love me so much that you won’t leave me so why did you leave me alone?“ I didn’t notice tears start flowing my eyes and hand wiping my tears away/

“I didn’t want to leave you“ Ethan said softly, still wiping my tears.

“Then why?“ I asked as I cry silently not wanting to let out the loud sound of me sobbing.

“The time I love you I know you are a human but after I knew you are a demon but it didn’t stop me from loving you but when my father knows he made me let go of you he said an angel and demon can’t be together, I couldn’t bear if something happens to you if I didn’t obey my father but believe me Lolita I still like you no… I still love you“ He caressed my cheek but I pulled his hand away.

“Then his right angel and demon can’t be together, we can’t be together“ I said before leaving the rooftop coming back to the dorm but I went directly to my room.

“I wish I wasn’t like this, I wish I wasn’t a demon“ I can’t help but continue to shed my tears until I feel someone hugs me.

“It’s fine to cry Lolita, just cry“ Aden hugs me tighter when I cry more.

“Why does everyone doesn’t want me? Why does everyone just leave me? Why?“ I wish I knew why.

“I’m here, I’ll stay with you from now on“ I hope he wasn’t lying when he said those words.
