CHAPTER XIII “ I’M NOT HER, I LIKE YOU LOLITA “

Hendrix's P.O.V.

It was my turn to stay with Lolita and I don't know what to do.

"Should I talk with her or just stay quiet? "I ruffle my hair. I'm getting more frustrated because we haven't talked properly since we kissed.

"Why did I even do that? "

I keep walking inside my room when suddenly the doors open surprising me.

"We'll be leaving to go to Lolita now "Luca said and I nodded.

"Just don't talk much to her then you'll be fine "I said to myself before heading to Lolita's room.

I knock before entering to see she's not in her room.

"Lolita? "I called her and she showed up from her closet, wearing an oversize hoodie with messy hair.

"What happened to you? "I asked and she looked like she just woke up.

"I didn't know but I think I fell asleep in my closet "She said before laying flat on her bed.

"Just continue sleeping, I'll take a nap on your couch "She just hums, making me smile a little.

"I guess she's not fully awake "I head to her couch and take a nap.

Lolita's P.O.V.

I woke up laying on a pile of clothes. I look around to realize I'm inside my closet and the clothes I'm laying on are my clothes.

I remember yesterday that I got so bored that I decided to arrange my clothes by color and I guess I couldn't finish it and just fell asleep.

I got outside my room wearing something that I grab and to be welcomed by Hendrix. Without thinking I pretend I'm still asleep.

When he talks to me I just talk simply and head to my bed, hiding my face on the pillow, I feel him sitting on my couch.

Minutes pass and I don't hear anything so I take a look seeing Hendrix fast asleep. I sat up facing him. I walk near him and bend a little to look at his face.

"You look more handsome "He does have a pretty face and smooth, his cheeks look soft so I poke it then something happens making me pull away.

"What the! Why am I here? "I'm back here, I look around to see a pair of eyes looking straight at me, confusion is obvious in his expression.

"Lolita? "

"Hendrix, Hi "

It's too awkward standing facing each other and not doing anything to add up we're standing on the lakeside where something occurs to the both of us.

"Umm, what are you doing here Lolita? "

"I don't know, I just arrived here when... "I stopped contemplating if I should tell him or not.

"When? "

"When… when I poke your cheek "

I put my head down, feeling my cheeks heat up because of embarrassment.

"Then how did you get here? I mean did you go here or you just suddenly got here? "

"I just teleported here when I poke your cheeks "

"Maybe because you touch me that's why you’re here, but it never happens before "

"Maybe one of the changes that are happening on me "

"Wanna eat something? "I just nodded and followed him to the hidden room.

When we enter foods that are already ready, we eat silently, stealing a look from each other.

"Here "He hands me a ball with something inside of it.

"I was about to give it to you the day you lost control so I just keep them here, it's a ball of soul "How did he get it?

"Nyx gave it to me, he knew I know where you are so he gave me a lot, and I also found out that if you don't consume one of those in a month you'll lose control.

"I already told him not to make me do this again, I hate taking a human's soul "I hand it back to him but he refuses.

"He knows you'll say that don't worry it isn't a human soul, inside that ball is an animal's soul but you need to take two of that for a month "

I eyed him suspiciously if he was not telling that truth but he just smiled and continued to eat. And again silence envelopes us.

"Lolita "He suddenly said but I chose not to look.

"If you think I did that because I thought you're Natalie then you're wrong "I held the ball tightly before I instantaneously consumed the soul and I saw my eyes turn blue more a moment.

"Believe me, Lolita I did that because I felt something… for you "

"I think I'll leave, I'll just take the other ball of soul when I can "I rush out of the room to suddenly remember I can't leave unless I go through the portal to the human world and I know it wouldn't be a good idea as I don't have permission to enter the vampire realm.

"Lolita wait! "I wanted to run out of the place but he caught up with me, pulling my wrist making me turn around before kissing me.

He deepens the kiss and I just gave up and just let him kiss me. His hand touches my waist before circling his arm around it while the other one is caressing my cheek. He pulled away from the kiss but kept close while looking straight into my eyes.

"Lolita, I like you as you, I like you not because you look like her "He said, still caressing my cheek.

"How can I know if you're telling the truth to me "I look away from his eyes because it's distracting me too much.

"I'll let Nyx take my soul away if I lied to you "I lightly pushed him.

"I...I can't Hendrix it's too early for me "

"Then I'll wait "

"What? "

"I'll wait while I prove I like you "

Before I even say anything I felt myself being pulled away, and when I look around I'm back to my room to see Adam holding me.

"Lolita, what happened…here? "He asked me.

"Huh? "

"You're like a statue when I arrive so I keep getting your attention but it was no vail so I pulled you "

"I don't know what happens "I choose to lie, I don't want anyone to know what happened.

"If you say so, anyway your mom said to gave it to you maybe her reply to your letter "

"Thanks a lot, Adam "

"Just don't suddenly call me, anyway I'm leaving now "

I waited until Adam left and made sure that Hendrix was still asleep before opening my mother's letter.

I felt dumbfounded by what I read, so this is why they're too against having a relationship with angels.. no they're against everyone.

"Why do they have to change my memory "I had a strong urge to ask my father but I remember what mom said in the letter, she said I can't tell anybody about it.

"I guess you'll wait longer "I look at Hendrix feeling bad.

I got near Hendrix and lightly tapped him, scared to be transported back to that place.

"Can you leave me for a while? "I asked softly and he just nodded.

I felt more irritated and mad because they kept hiding things from me and especially if it’s about me, I felt myself losing control again but I suddenly felt weaker than before. My legs break down for me to head on the nearest shelves on me but I couldn’t help but continue to be mad.

And just I felt weaker and just blackout.

Nyx’s P.O.V.

We just came back from class when I crossed paths with Hendrix.

“How’s Lolita? Why aren’t you with her? “

“She asked me to leave her alone and don’t worry she’s fine but I think she needs a lot of rest, and I guess you should talk to her already, clear things with her “He said before heading outside

I kept thinking about what he said and decided to do it, I walked to her room when I felt something. When I rush to her room I see her leaning on a shelf, I want to go near her but the room suddenly blocks me making me confused but I understand as I see Lolita’s hand that has flame flickering on it but it doesn’t form anything maybe because of the spell.

I wait until she passes out and right then I can go inside again. I carried her to her bed.

“I wanted to talk to you but you faint again like days ago “I sigh while looking at her. I stayed inside her room when I felt someone behind me.

“I already know everything Nyx “Adam? What is he talking about?

“What do you mean Adam? “I asked cluelessly.

“I know what you’re hiding from Lolita, what you're hiding from everybody “I froze and turned to him to see him smiling evilly.

“What are you talking about Adam? What nonsense are you saying? “I pretended not to know but he just smirked, showing he knew everything.

“I won’t push you to talk but just remember that I can’t keep silent for too long “When he was about to leave I blocked him with my powers.

“Tell me what you know? “I couldn’t help but get mad and worried at the same time knowing someone might tell everyone the truth.

“Should I tell you? Here? Are you sure? “He smiled at me.

“Then where? “

“Well I don’t mind telling anywhere it’s up to you “

I look back at Lolita and I’m not ready for her to hear it. I use my powers to bring him with me to my father’s palace garden.

“Now spill everything that you know “He nodded.

“I already know why it’s happening to Lolita, I already know why your so mad when you would out she had a relationship and I already know why your father wanted to lock her power “He told me everything he knows making me more worried but the fact that I know he’s not telling something made me nervous.

“I told you to tell me everything that you know “I force myself not to get agitated much.

“I don’t know if you already know but I do,'' he said, looking at something before facing me.

“I know who Lolita is, I know who's the real her, And include her true name “

When he said that name I didn’t feel worried or nervous anymore but it made me feel scared. If he knew someone could also know it.
