Blare’s P.O.V
After bumping into a stranger it enters my mind that I need my mind to be cleared either I’m walking home or taking a bus. That stranger was just my luck. Maybe next time I would be dead or if not a stranger would abduct me.
I keep my mind clear and my eyes roaming around to ensure my safety and it works. When I arrived at the entrance of the neighborhood the lady guard would stop me from entering if I didn’t remove the hood of my head.
“Your home earlier than usual, and Persephone’s not with you, did something happen?” The lady guard said as she gave me a motherly smile, she wasn’t young nor old but she always treated the two like her granddaughter and me when she got to know me.
“Did you have dinner?” I asked silently and she just nodded. I knew she’s now used to me having a weak voice whenever I talked to her or to anyone except for Mia and Persephone and the constantly changing topics that she might guess aren’t comfortable for me to speak to anyone.
