The Tale Of King Armegestien and The Dori Stone
There once was a mighty King
His was wise and eyes were keen
His was known as Armegestien
Once his kingdom faced with drought
It was something he have never fought
Why isn't raining so he thought
Because of no drop of rain
The farmers' work went in vain
Gone the crops they growed with pain
As the time goes on and on
Many people suffered on
Since crops are damaged beyond.
Then he went to the shrine
Where idols of gods gives a grin
Which gives him chills through his spine
But he don't bother it at all
I want help from you that's all
Says the king with voice so small
The God answers to his pray
He gives a stone which not so grey
But it colour was like an Osprey
With that stone now he held
Why I need this what he yelled
To fight the problems that we never dwelled
The answer came from the God
You might find this very odd
Ask the stone and you will get the cod
So he returns with the stone
Whispered to it 'Make food shortage gone'
But nothing happens so he groan
The next day he finds the messenger running
What's the hurry? What's is troubling
I am here to give the news I am carrying
The kings face beams with joy
As the person speaks who is a envoy
We got grains for us to enjoy
The whole kingdom then have feasted
Forgetting all the crops that got wasted
Getting their tongue with new food they tasted
The King Gestein then seemed for more
As the stone made food restore
But as he touched it his hands went sore
Listen mortal how greedy you turned
Don't be selfish the God has warned
If so then in hell you'll be burned
So he paid the warning a heed
He asks for something only in need
Never wished for something by greed
As the king's son takes heir
He tells his son to swear
Never be greedy or disaster is near
The lad was very handsome indeed
But was also filled with greed
So a tragic falls indeed
He wanted to have wealth and wine
But his desire made the country to whine
All their cries goes dwine
Thunders road and wind so strong
What I did that's so wrong
Says the prince beneath is throng
Your wish was not to benefit the people
Ignored your father's request so simple
Nothing will change rubbing your temple
And so the stone which grants your wish
Is now being lost for being childish
It's maybe inside an enormous fish
(Found in the ancient ruins of
Cesbett. Studies says that it was
written by a poet called
-Guesto Fer Lerminto El Tonto)
Furara turns the paper of the book to the next page.
"The poet lacks skills in poetry." she continues to read the 'Pieces of Ancient Poetry'.
He sure does Furara. The author sure does.
