11 - Not Alone

She raised her left hand, waved it above her head, then suddenly water from a river near her rose to the sky above her. She pointed her left hand to the man and the water moved fiercely to him. This woman has powers similar to mine, and that shook me, Lupus said I'm the only one with such powers : water bending/controlling.

From shock, I covered my mouth with my hands because the man did not fall or fly away like I expected. Instead he stretched his hand out in front of him and suddenly there was a bubble around him, protecting him. Instead of the water hitting and weakening him as it should, it simply bounces of the bubble around him.

The woman face turned stone hard when she noticed this. She put more power in a blows and within a minute her rage was evident. The air around her looked stiff and tired, her eyes held anger but also fear, her body language was aloof but rigid. But nothing she could do, her emotions considered, could make her stronger.
