Who Are They?

McKenna's POV.

I don't know how long I sat there. The memories of my brother and Alarick kept playing again and again in my head.

I remember when I used to wish I had my memories. When I'll secretly cry myself to sleep every night, knowing that my family were treading softly around me, not knowing what they can and cannot say. Now that it's coming back to me, I'd rather I don't have them.

Ian.

He's still asleep, and it's scaring me. I feel so helpless. I wish I could do something, anything to help him.

A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts. I look up to see who came in.

"Can I come in?"

"You'd come in anyway, so you don't need to ask me." He smiled before taking a seat beside me on the bed.

"I'm sorry. For pushing you to talk like that." Luke said with his eyes trained on mine. A sigh escaped my lips as I exhaled deeply.

"It's okay. It surprisingly felt good." I said with a laugh.
