Courting with Petunia

The Gate of Anubis only opens to one person each. Squeezing in one more person in a 'only-one-person rule' could work, only, and only, if you have control on your atomic structure, avoiding any abnormal mutation or an absolute ticket to death.

If Celine and Jun want to return to the land of the living, they have to be Deities to have complete blessings and guidance from their Goddesses. Alex and Rachel stays, whether they like it or not, because they're weak, they barely had even leveled to animal.

"Hath you mastered the abilities of the guidance that us beings hath given then I could let thy two mortals out of here(in Ancient Egypt language)" In leveling up to deity, one have to push the levels comparable to the tale of Hercules or any demiGods or demiGoddesses. But the rarity is still the same rate, rather, leveling to Mythical is already hard than walking on nails for a mile.

While the couple is trying to open their cores through mana, Alex immediately saw this as a chance and raises his hand.

"May I ask what happened here?" Anubis looks at Alex and scoffed.

"Mortals know no shame no matter what generation that is, I feel the creator of Abenaki shame upon his child's selective ignorance (in Ancient Egypt language)" Rachel couldn't agree more and just nod in response to what Anubis said, only to sooner get an elbow hit at her side.

"Anubis says that your shameless for your selective ignorance" Rachel cut short what Anubis said. Alex clicked his tongue and sighs.

"My ignorance can possibly be excused---" Anubis draws out a sword created with miasma surrounding them and putting it over Alex's throat. They all know that Alex, as of currently, is courting death.

"I may be weakened however I still have the power to erase your existence as I may wish, hold your tongue mortal or I will curse your death(in Ancient Egypt language)" Rachel holds him and pushes him backwards and stands between them. Anubis met her gaze which she immediately retracts and bows her head down.

"I plead that you excuse us just this once" she hears a grumble comparable to a growl and the miasma in front of them starts to clear off.

"Tabaldak is a mystery for choosing this soul...(in Ancient Egypt language)" she hears Him say but keeps her mouth shut.

Rachel pushed Alex far away from Anubis and as expected, Alex fights back by hitting her as well. Rachel falls on the surface and thought that she tasted blood.

"What in the world are you doing?" Alex scowl at her as if she was in the wrong, Rachel glares back at him.

"So what? Were you trying to get yourself killed? Leaving Aileen behind without any words? Sure, I'll let you be, but if His mood turns bad now, I don't want to follow your unknown grave more so when my Guide is Vishnu, a Powerful God of Hinduism" she stands up and leans forward towards Alex, pointing her finger on his chest.

"Tabaldak is indeed a mysterious Being for choosing someone like you" Alex opened his mouth but also knew now that what he did might have indeed killed him. He keeps his mouth shut and pushes her away with a click of his tongue.

"Fine, since you understand what he is saying thanks to Vishnu, you do all the talking" her guts felt like it did a somersault, not because she's swooned over his smile, but because she feels like something bad is behind that smile.

"Don't you dare trigger Anubis again" she warns him once more, expecting him to listen to her. He smiles at her once again, that smile really...

Rachel slowly approaches Anubis, she wanted to get on His good side and avoid any misunderstanding while they wait for their exit.

"For miasma to go out of control, you need help on cleaning, don't you?" Alex suddenly blurted out, Rachel turned her head in fear and signalling him to stop, wanting to cover his mouth and push him again, but that would mean showing such a rude action to Anubis, right?

"What ideas hath you decided to pull yet again foolish soul? Do you dare court death once more?(in Ancient Egypt language)" Anubis has once again risen from his position, forming a weapon from the mist once again. Rachel stand between them and turns her head to Alex to get him to stand down and apologize but to no avail, pushing his way instead and now stands in front of him. He who courts death.

"That's right, an idea! Your power is weaken and we cannot call on to our Guides since we are on a different underworld, but you can support their power, right? Then this kid right here, she who is the child of---" his words are once again cut off like before, and an even more familiar scene as the dagger had once again returned in front of his neck.

"You hath the gall of treating I, the God of this Underworld and Owner of this territory, a fool! You are certainly the same man as you were centuries ago(in Ancient Egypt language)" Anubis growled as he press on his dagger on his neck, but Rachel was uninterested of saving him now, no, what she just heard and understood from Anubis is far more interesting.

"Then why had you not call upon Vishnu yet? One of the powerful leads of Underworld, Dear God, I can treat you for a fool---" his head is meant to fly, yes it is meant to be since he provoked a God, but what is this lingering curiosity?

Rachel instinctively pushed Alex out of the way of the blade and had her cheek scarred instead. She bows down and her forehead meet the surface,

"God of the Egyptian Underworld and He who is in High Power, I plead your forgiveness for this foolish man's action"

"You are in no position to plead forgiveness for he is in the fault here, child of Vishnu! This soul is ought to learn that angering us Beings will cause him nothing but misfortune!" Rachel wanted to agree with Him, but there are things that Alex can still do, she just can't let him die here like nothing.

"Yes, I agree more about your opinion, but the reason had you not call upon Vishnu is upon my health, is that right? If I give consent, will this problem cease?" Rachel didn't raised her head, but she knows the expressions of the two beings, one is human and the other is a God, and she can't afford them noticing that she's just trying to calm the situation down and letting the rude one run alive.

Anubis felt like he wanted to just sleep after this.

Long before they had dragged on this conversation, Anubis had already recognized the souls and thought that the Vishnu and, especially, Tabaldak had a unique taste to choose these souls. Had they just listened and played with his humor, they would have been released slowly, but no, especially Alex, he just had to make things difficult for Him to be generous.

"I do not care of what comes of your mortal body for We decided to put thee in such position for a balanced cycle, regardless of that, what I truly care is if bringing out Vishnu is tolling thy mortal body, then Her core will be destroyed first and I do not wish for a Being like I to vanish once more(in Ancient Egypt language)"

"But consent brings out the magic, right? Just have this kid agree and we're all fine" yes, if only he does not speak in such a crude manner, which makes Rachel wonder, why is he speaking in such an informal manner??

Anubis really wants to end this man but that would mean affecting Tabaldak as well, he is not aware of what would happen if he would touch a Creator of another Mythology.

"Then, that is if the mortal consent, it would be a painful way to have Vishnu come out here due to the energy a mortal has to supply for a pseudo body of a Being like Us, tell thy wish for this to end" Rachel naturally has to answer yes and bare with the pain, Alex has to be away from Anubis now that he is provoking him to the point of getting killed so he has to use the Gate on his own.

"Yes, I consent to this"

"Then, I shall inject my energy in you for Vishnu to be able to come out" Anubis raises his hand and rather a very dense but small pill-like miasma on the tips of his finger. Even though it looks like a miasma, it's actually His mana and it was just the influence of his environment.

The pill enters her chest slowly and what felt like burning came surging around her chest and circulate in her body.

"Then as for myself..."
