Bellona's POV
My muscles ache and my lungs feel as if I am breathing in fire as I continue pushing myself forward. I've been running for at least a day, as the sun has set and risen. I haven't stopped since I first left Blue Shadow, my pack, as I have not found a safe place to rest.
As if the goddess above heard my prayers a notice a small log cabin ahead. I slow my pace to a walk, inspecting my surroundings in case there is any danger lingering nearby. The cabin is small maybe one bedroom. Vines scale up the side of it and the windows are covered in a thick layer of grime. I take a large breath, seeing if there are any lingering scents in the area. Seems like no one has been here in a very long time.
