The story focuses on Aiden Rowell, a young man of 16 years old whose life has not been completely happy, because when he turned 10 he lost his father in an accident and since then because of his mother's work he has had to move from city to city, until one day his mother is made a permanent transfer to a small town called Horwich where he hides more than one secret that will change the life of Aiden and the city forever

Palk was convinced that this earring would lead him to what he believed was the identity of the guardian so he asked one of his guards to look for the owner of this earring as soon as possible. On the other hand, the young men decided to meet at Aiden's house; once there, they set out to read the next clue, which read 


"Like a falling feather... like a closing whole... if you look a little more into the dark, the last piece there is found" 


The young people began to think, managing after a while to decipher that where the last piece was a box with a feather badge. They tried to search on the Internet but the search yielded no results, now the young people were puzzled because it was practically impossible to find that box; on the other hand, Palk received the results of the search for the earring, the guard told him that apparently it belonged to a student named Brithany Calders so the mayor decided to call Raimondi by phone telling him:
