The story focuses on Aiden Rowell, a young man of 16 years old whose life has not been completely happy, because when he turned 10 he lost his father in an accident and since then because of his mother's work he has had to move from city to city, until one day his mother is made a permanent transfer to a small town called Horwich where he hides more than one secret that will change the life of Aiden and the city forever

That same night, after that sudden aura came out of the depths both Aiden's necklace and Christopher's ring began to glow the same color as the aura, it was during this that Christopher began to have a nightmare that he was in a dark and very scary place no matter how much he called no one came out, there seemed to be no end to it. At the same time Aiden dreamt of the same place but after a while both found themselves apparently having the same dream! It was at this time that a strange sphere of orange light landed in front of them, illuminating the whole place, revealing that they were both inside the old church where the dark sect made their pacts just then they both woke up from the dream.
