I was enjoying my beauty sleep till I heard a voice that sounded like a dying whale...or worse.

I woke up with a frown on my face. Damn the stupid neighbor. I decided to shut the window but to my surprise it was already shut. How loud could this bastard get?

I got up and walked over to the window. He was at his porch watering plants. I crossed my arms and glared at him. He smirked at me.

I gave him my middle finger. He mouthed 'bitch' . I mouthed 'proud of it'

I closed the curtains and made my way out of my room. I hopped down the stairs till I got to the kitchen.

My whole family was there; my mum, dad and Gerald.

''Anyone woken up by the neighbor's voice raise your hand''

They all raised their hands.

I chuckled.

''Breakfast on the counter'' my mum said

I took my breakfast and started eating.

''Any plans for today honey?" Steve asked

''I really don't know'' I replied with my mouth stuffed

''Don't talk with your mouth full, it's gross'' Gerald said

''Like you would know anything about manners''

''Bella! Be nice to your brother'' my mum scolded

''I didn't do shit''

''Language" Steve warned

I rolled my eyes and continued eating. Nobody said anything else. When I was done, Maria carried my plates to the sink then i made my way back upstairs to get ready for school.

I entered my bathroom and took a shower. Ten minutes later I was done. I stood in front of my walk in closet trying to decide what to wear.

I decided to go with a blue crop top, black ripped jeans and blue Jordans.

I grabbed my bag, airpods and phone and made my way downstairs

''I'm out" I shouted to no one in particular before going outside to get in my car.

As usual, Pablo was already there waiting for me.

"Good morning miss Martins"

"Morning"

"Where to?"

"School"

He nodded and drove me to school.

On our way I browsed through 'the eye' blog on my phone looking for anything that might seem interesting.

I was still #1 on the what's trending list

The person who leaked Bella's pictures still hasn't been found but we suspect it might be Leslie Arnolds.

Afterall, what's a better way to bring your opponent down other than posting their nudes?

I shook my head and scrolled down. The internet is filled with a bunch of useless people who have no job other than poking into affairs of others.

A few minutes later we got to school.

"Have a nice day" Pablo told me

"Thanks"

With a heavy sigh, I got down, feeling all the energy drained out of me.

I have to face this huge crowd again. Just like Drew said, I won't give the person the satisfaction of knowing he or she got to me.

I'm going to handle this situation like nothing happened .Sure, my crown may have tilted a little but it didn't fall. I just have to adjust my crown, hold my head high and carry on like the queen that I am.

I heard whispers as I walked through the hallway but I ignored them. Half of these people won't matter in a few years time anyway.

I made my way to class. Thankfully I was seat partners with Stephanie. She usually keeps me entertained.

''Hey '' she said

I smiled at her in response.

Our literature teacher instructed us to turn to a page in our textbook

She was interrupted by the banging of the door. All eyes to the front as Drew Parker came in.

Mrs Robinson cleared her throat

''Mr Parker, you're late as usual''

"I don't care" he smiled like he didn't have a care in the world

''You will care..in detention'' she gave him a slip

He squeezed it and threw it in the trash can

Everyone gasped

''What are you staring at?'' He screamed

Nobody could respond

''I thought so''

He walked to his back seat. He put his two legs on the table with headphones over his ears. He leaned back and closed his eyes

I stared at him wondering how some one this mean could care about me.

Why did he take me home that day?

Why was I so intrigued by him?

How come I never bothered to talk to him before?

''Stop staring!'' Amber whispered in my ear from behind me

I blinked in shock

''Thanks for scaring me idiot"

I rubbed my temples trying to calm myself down. I was getting a little tense

"By the way, we're sitting together at lunch today"

"Don't we always?"

"For the female elites only"

"Alright"

"You coming to the game tonight Bella?" Stephanie asked me

I totally forgot. The football game of the season is tonight.

"Yeah sure. We aren't cheering, are we?"

"No" Amber answered

I turned back to take a look at Drew one more time. It felt as if my heart stopped as soon as we made eye contact but neither of us looked away.
