Chapter 38

"Wake up. Wake up" Leslie chanted jumping on my bed

I turned to my left using the duvet to cover my face

"Fuck off"

"Oh yeah?"

She jumped down . Where did she go to now?

More sleep for me then. I smiled as I closed my eyes, ready for more sleep to come just in time to feel cold water.

"What the actual fuck?"

She laughed. The evil witch. Now my bed is all wet

"Haha. Joke's on you"

She opened all the curtains. I groaned covering my eyes. The sun was just too bright

"Get up you lazy cow. Time to go to school"

I just noticed she was already dressed

Wait... How?

"What time is it?" I asked her

"8:23"

"Shit"

I rushed to the bathroom. I know I won't make it but it won't hurt to try

It took my 13 minutes to shower and to brush my teeth

"That was fast" Leslie commented as I came out of the bathroom

"Fuck. I have nothing to wear "

"Got you covered"

She patted on some clothes on the bed. They were neatly folded

I sighed in relief

"Thanks babe, you're a life saver"

"Anytime"

I quickly got dressed in them as fast as I could

In no time we were ready. I just packed my hair in a simple ponytail and applied a little bit of mascara and lip gloss.

I looked dull alread. I wanted to brighten up my face. My eyes were puffy from crying last night

I also had dark circles underneath. Well, I ended up doing my full make up which took 15 minutes cause I had to do it quick.

On our way ou,t I saw Maria cleaning the chairs in the living room

"Maria'

She stopped what she was doing and came to me

"Good morning ma'am. What can I do for you? "

"Dress my room. Don't forget to change the sheets, this thing here made it all wet"

"I'm right here" Leslie announced

"Yes ma'am " Maria replied

"Alright"

"Have a lovely day ma'am "

"You too''

With that, we left my house.

"What car are we taking, yours or mine? " I asked

"I feel like driving. Let's take mine"

"Good. I'm too lazy to drive anyway"

In a few we were off to school. On our way, I checked my phone to see if Drew replied any of my messages or calls.

Nothing

I had 238 new messages but none from the person I want

I sighed putting my head in my hands

"Hey, don't beat yourself up about it" Leslie said

"How can I not?"

"Look he loves you, alright?"

"I hope he still does"

"He does. Just give him time. He'll come around"

"Thanks"

"No problem babe"

We arrived at school but i didn't get down immediately

"I'm scared" I confessed

Why wouldn't I be? I'm the most popular girl in school. The news must have gone round by now

Don't even get me started on 'the eye'. I'm probably trending right now

Everyone is going to look at me some sort of way. I love attention but I can't help but feel awkward

"You'll be fine"

She held my hand to reassure me

"Thank you"

"Now come on. You are Bella Martins. The most fearless and unfazed person I know. You can do this"

I smiled to myself

"You're right. I can do this"

"Ready?"

"Yes"

We walked towards the school building. I felt better with Leslie by my side

Tiffany, Stephanie and Amber were at the entrance waiting for us I guess

"Hey" they greeted

"Hello" we replied

They both gave me hugs which turned to a group hug. I felt safe, my four best friends all supporting me.

Amber raised my chin up and straightened my shoulders

"Be strong boo. If anyone says shit tell them off"

I nodded

Tiffany patted my back

"You're a strong woman" she said

I chuckled

"Thanks guys. Strong is my middle name"

Leslie gasped

"I thought Sarah was your middle name. Have you been lying to us about who you are? Is your name even Bella?"

We laughed. Trust Leslie to be over dramatic.

"I feel a lot better thanks to you all."

"That's our job" Amber said

Tiffany cleared her throat

"So um I need to talk to Leslie about the assignment Mr Donald gave us"

"I have History now" I sighed again. I have to go there alone

None of them take History anymore

"You'll be good on your own, right babe? " Amber asked

"I'll try"

We hugged each other once more.

"Bye guys"

We parted ways. I slowly made my way to class.

I really wish I had Harry Potter's invisible cloak right now

I can't keep running away from my problems. I just have to adjust my tilted crown and move on like the queen that I am. People still greeted me normally. I know I was okay with these people, my problem is Drew. He's going to be a laughing stock and I'm the cause of it

When I sat down at my usual seat in the middle of class, I brought out my phone deciding to check the blog. Taking I deep breath I logged in. As expected, Drew and I were trending

Well well well, seems like the cutest couple was fake all along. Awwn, poor Drew, he must be devastated. Sike! I know I loved Bella before but I definitely love her more now. Hollywood needs you sis. To think you kept his up for more than two months. Can't believe Drew thought he could get the hottest girl in school. Get someone in your league little boy. A New Girl In Town?

Due to my curious actions and mobile minions, I discovered a new girl in west view high. It seems she's also new in town.

"Good morning class"

The teacher had walked in. I had to put my phone away. This woman is really strict.

"Good morning ma'am" we replied

"Today we have a new girl in class. Miss Madison Hills come on in"

The girl walked in

"Whoa" guys exclaimed

Even I had my mouth open. She looked like she came out of a doll packet

She had on a matching floral crop top and a flair mini skirt with heels

She looked so elegant with her slightly dark long hair She was so classy and beautiful. I almost got intimidated, note the word 'almost'

"Hello everyone" she said waving to the class. Wow, she must be confident too

"Hi Madison" they replied

"Have a seat'' the teacher ordered

"Thank you ma'am"

She sat down in the chair in front of me. The scent of her perfume got me attracted

She smelled expensive. I lightly tapped her shoulder making her turn back

"Hello" she smiled

"Hi, what brand is your perfume? . It smells really nice"

"Alexander Wang"

Wow, that's not cheap at all. She's rich too? I really need to be friends with this girl

"Wow cool"

"Thanks"

"I'm Bella"

"I'm Madison. Nice to meet you"

"Likewise. So uhm you wanna hang out at lunch? Maybe I could introduce you to a few people. I'm really popular"

She smiled then turned to the front to listen to the lectures

Time passed by quickly and class was over. I stood up and started packing my books

"Uh do you do Creative arts?" Madison asked

"Can you show me where it is? We could sit together too"
