Month after month had passed, nothing happened. It was almost like those 3 torturous years never happened. She got an apartment, contacted her parents, met new and old friends and went back to school.
Everything was running smoothly until one tragic incident occurred. It shook her, her hands trembled in fear and shock.
There they were, her parents. Dead.
Their once lively and warm brown eyes now looked lifeless, they were wide open looking into staring into nothingness. They were burnt . . . almost beyond recognition.

She tried phoning them but no one answered. Her head spun and her heart quivered.
