Her pale complexion looked almost white, her small body looked malnourished from the lack of food. Her blonde hair looked dirty and dry. And her spirit, safety, independence and freedom was crushed into billions of tiny pieces.
She got up from where she laid as she heard a knock. She went to the door, opened it and saw her landlord. He told her that she was two months late. Two months and if she couldn't pay up by tomorrow she'd be kicked out.
Tears fell from her eyes as she dropped to the floor and begged him.
She pleaded.
He kicked her and walked away with a smile one his face. His phone beeped and he looked at it.
