The first time it happened was when he confessed to her. A naive little girl she was, she believed it was love . . . Nothing but sweet romance. It was the first time he had hit her. Blue's eyes went down to her stomach and his mouth dropped. 


Why didn't he see her bump earlier? Was she taken? What was she doing out here all alone? Where was her boyfriend or husband? Was it because of the dark that made him fail to notice? 


She observed him. She knew exactly what he was thinking. 


Could she trust him? She's been alone all this time, maybe she could trust him. He didn't seem like he was a bad person. What if he was like him. What if he hurt her like him? 


Not all guys are the same. She couldn't let herself be that way. It wasn't her. He wanted to know, 


She glanced at him while he looked back at her with soft and warm eyes.
