Chapter 13: Heading to Vei Shong Academy

As my dear grandmother Umi reprimanded me about staying in this Aether form. I vaguely listened to her and was caught off guard when she shouted my name. "Luna!! For crying out loud. Nea above girl..Did your brain evaporate also?" She asked. I shooked my head no and playfully giggled. "This is important you listen girl. Your about to go to an private all-girl Neotic school known for having Neotics of all kinds. That and crazy stuff happening there every day. Not only that but it's hidden from Fafir's scouts if they found you.

Who knows what they would do. So I suggest ya stop playing with that...thing and listen." My grandma demanded. I shooed off Uffu and sat cross legged trying my best to listen. "Mother..this is how Luna is. She's always been this way. The doctor even diagnosed her with ADHD. Just a very minor case of it. I believe Skyra has it also. So try to be patient with her ok?" Papa assured her. Grandma Umi nodded and crawled to me and kissed my forehead.

"Warm..your very warm Gran Gran. But I'll be good. I have a question though. What about Pega,Ivanka and Destiny? What about Ember? What's gonna happen to Gala while I'm gone?" I asked concern. Grandma Umi smiled and giggled. "No need to worry. I'll put Ember and Destiny to work. In fact all of your little gal pals are gonna be put through a strict training regiment for one whole year. As for Gala. Oh Nea. That ain't gonna be easy. Plus we have to make sure your other granny gets here.

Without causing a ruckus." She said sounding slightly annoyed. My eyes lit up along with Momma's both of us simultaneously shouted her name. "Grandma Hrotha!!" We exclaimed. Even Azou heard and wanted to go to Neo and pick her,Grandpa Hrotha and Aunt Haze up. One problem. Granny Elena's realm was well hidden so I could imagine that being..difficult.

"Have no fear though. They're actually getting packed and on their way here. I just need to create a portal. Besides. Haze is your mom's older sister. We know each other. Now. For you go get pack and make sure you take your blind people tools if you ever go blind fully again." She instructed upsetting Momma a little bit. In fact once I left the two argued about how she talks to me.

"She's my daughter and I and Zuma are the only one's that can talk to her that way. Not only did you call her weak.But you have such a huge stick up your ass. You can't see the fact your making her resent you. So back off my baby!!" Momma yelled. Papa tried calming her down but Grandma fired back pissing her off more. "At least I care about my granddaughter. Well both of them. Had it not been for me even sharing this prophecy with Nea. That little girl wouldn't be alive!! Im literally the GODDESS OF LIFE. Its my job Skyra. You play with outer space. I fabricate existence. So I can yell at her any way I like no matter what." She fired back. Auntie Emma and Azou rushed to stop a fight from happening just before Granny Hrotha popped in from the portal and gave Grandma Umi an very scary glare.

"Skyra!!! Vol Su hu fol gin to falln to mien!!" She said in apparently Old Neotic. A language forgotten ever since humans began living on Neo. One human responsible was named Madame Avery. She educated and convinced the Neotic Council to make wider and more socially acceptable schools. But enough of Neotic History. Granny Hrotha brought her suitcase and Grandpa's in the palace. She saw me after she finshed unpacking and not even a ounce of fear, hugged me.

"Oooh Segula. My little blind Segula. Luna. You did what was impossible. Your in this...uh..form..does it feel funny?" She asked in her broken English. It was cute honestly. I responded back in Old Neotic. "Yooo..shu..toocarr. Varicj..sd..huu..colvd" I said causing her to laugh. Translating that would be. Yeah but a bit..windy in certain places. I tell her what Momma and Papa's decision was about me receiving schooling. She looked proud and sat on her bed. Her beautiful long black hair with grey strands. Her slender purple frame and gorgeous skin. She had freckles and laugh lines. It made me wonder. Was she curvy and voluptuous like Mom and Aunt Haze back in her day. She caught me staring and hugged me. Not surprisingly she was taller than me.

Five feet and ten inches to be exact. Apparently dullahan women get shorter in each generation so..to my future daughter...sorry. Your gonna be Nea's height. Or a dwarf hehe.

After we caught up I saw my Grandpa Hrotha whos a chubby large man shorter than Grandma Hrotha. I say he's five foot seven. Average height hehe. He picked me up with his thick fingers and hugged me tight in his powerful arms. Those monstrous hands of his were still as gentle as ever. "Luna. I see Papa Zuma has been training you well do you remember when I took you out for ice cream and then..well we got in trouble from the law and Grandma yelled at us?" He asked adjusting his hat and stroking his scraggly beard. "Yes Grampy. And Momma yelled at you for not getting into enough trouble.

Oh and I'm going to a all-girl school apparently. No perverted tricks Grampy. I'd hate to have to bodyslam you..again." We laughed together. And before ya ask. Yes I call my Grandpa Hrotha. Grampy. He's the only one me and Azou got so he's very special. As he puts me down and joins Grandma in their room. I go back to mine and finish packing up. I'm exicted for what my old pals are gonna think about this form. I can't wait.

The next day at 7 am. Im awaken by Ember laying on top of me. "Hey sexy. Rise and shine. We gotta get you all showered up,well fed and ready to go..Also...IM GONNA MISS YOUUUU. PROMISE YOU'LL CALL OK!!" Ember embarrassingly wailed. I just grin and nodded. It isn't long after my shower and getting dressed I see all my friends and family at the table waiting for me. Their all talking and eating..all except Yunago. She's in the foyer gazing at the light gleaming into the palace window. I go up to her and hug her. "Hi Honey. I..Im not really good at these kinda things. Im sorta anti-social. The fact you have not one set of grandparents but two. Your mom's,Your Papa's and even a great grandmother. Hehe. I like her. Willow. She's a sweet woman." Yunago says.

"She just got here about three hours ago. She's the only dragon woman normal sized. My..great grandpa passed away several years before I was born. My Auntie Jaxl tells me it was a divorce and Papa doesn't like talking about the day he had to take his soul. Being God of Death and everything. He was very depressed. But..Let's not be sad. Let's be happy. I know I'm going away for a year. But..Call me..You have my undying love. Always." I said as I kissed her cheek. She turned towards me and groped my butt. "Keep this and every thing else safe. Also. If your ok with it..I'd like to keep our relationship open for little miss Ember hehe. Let me know what you think when ya get back." She seductively said. I blushed and walked with her hand in hand back to the dining room.

As the host Granny Elena and Gala both picked up a glass and used a spoon to tap it with. "Your attention please everyone. Ahem..as you all may know. My granddaughter Luna will be leaving us today. She will return to the Neotic world to be away for a year's time and further her training in that form you all see. That is indeed what all the gods,mortals and creature alike call Aether. It is our only chance to finally stop Fafir and end this debacle once and for all.

As the hostess of this palace and grandmother to my son's second born. I ask you all. Who do we all fight for?" She said sounding confident and sure of herself. Everyone there minus me shouted simultaneously "FOR NEA,FOR ALL OF NEO AND AETHER!!" I was surprised I was in that cry for victory. I felt honoured and was saddened that now it was time to go. Momma and Papa along with Azou came along. Hugs all around were given to me. The one that made me cry was Gala.

"Mommy? Pwomise Gala you call her okie? Gala remember stories you read her befowe bed. Gala gonna miss you. Gala love you." She said as cute as ever. I picked her up and kissed her. She hugged me with her little grey arms and kissed me back. "I promise. Be a good girl for mommy ok? Keep Gram Gram Hrotha out of trouble. Don't be scared you have two grandpa's now hehe. And one of them can give you candy and toys while the other can make you ice cream and read you stories. Don't worry. I love you and will always love you. My sweet..sweet Gala..Gala Hrotha." I said kissing her one more time. All of the family and my friends waved me off as I climbed into this large orange hovercraft. Momma drove it and soon after we were in space heading to the planet of my parent's birth: Neo.

"Wow. Its..Like Earth but..bigger. Hehe. Oh if only one day the four of us could go to Earth. So much to eat and explore mmm. And so many cute boys too hehe." Azou giggled. Papa gave her a glare and patted her head. "Not on my watch. I already have enough when dealing with human souls from Neo. Imagine those from Earth. My buddy the Grim Reaper made it sound like hell. Can't blame him. Being asked so many questions.

Pfft." He says while droning on with one of his many stories. I fall asleep thinking of my old pals. Once I wake up Momma has me on her shoulders. "Were here Lu Lu. Hehe. Ready to get in that academy and show everyone what's what?" She asked opening the trunk. "I am. And Momma..thanks for the shoulder nap hehe. I love you guys and I'll try to not get suspended..not like last time. Eh heh heh." I scratched my head. A skinny tall woman with a grey pencil skirt,grey blazer and small glasses seemed to not recognized me. She asked my name and was shocked. "Greetings Headmistress Cleo. It's me Luna. I look different but I promise..I'll behave." I said earnestly. She smiled and thanked Momma and Papa for bringing me here safely. Once Azou hugged me. She gave me a little square. It had a tiny speaker in it. I smiled and kissed her cheek. They left and there I was being escorted through the halls of Vei Shong Academy.

"I see the procephy is true. But so early. Hmm. Hopefully that form isn't too premature. Now Luna as your familiar with our clothing procedures. Your mother informed me..Your clothes evaporated?" She asked. Embarassed I admitted even my panties and bra did also. "Maybe its the energy and heat radiating off this form. But..But my grandmother is having me maintain this form so I can master it and work my way up to wearing clothes without them..vaporizing off hehe." I giggled.
