In A Fate Where Lies Ahead (VII)

I have the sense that something was not right,

The knots should be entangled one by one,

In a fate where everything could lie,

Where love could disperse in one blink of an eye.

THE YEAR 1904, a century away from the present time.

"I saw something different in her eyes. Fang Ying Yue was never that gentle. Her voice seemed... a little different from usual," Emperor Li Jing said. He placed the empty cup, with little remnants of the coffee all around the bottom part, and he chinked it with the saucer lightly. Empress Zhang Lian sighed as she tilted her head to one side.

She couldn't understand what her husband was trying to say.

"The one who showed up right now was very different from the one who fled last time for a mission. Fang Ying Yue was not her. I am sure something was wrong with their family right now...," Emperor Li Jing was also puzzled about the destined Queen's strange actions.
