At present in shell city within the walker clan house:

John Walker was having a grim face as he listened to the news from communication talisman. The other party was his source which he used to get his daughter into Arcadia Academy. His body sweated and his heart felt like it would explode from the news he had heard. Tears welled up in his eyes as he heard the news about his daughter's current situation. With a grim and shaky voice John asked for the other party, no begged would be the most appropriate tone to bring his daughter back to the Shell city after which collapsed on his chair with his eyes almost looking listless. The other party also had a sad tone and apologised for not protecting her and assured he would send her back to shell city safe and sound.

In Arcadia city near the City Square where the mercenary guild and merchants guild stood, one body was seen hanging, naked with scars littered on his body. His arms were blue from multiple fractures and his legs were twisted and deformed. This was once one of the most desired man by many girls within the academy and also a dream of many young noble girls from various families. His name was Kleever Anthony from Anthony family. This was a warning which the second prince Lux had sent to the still hesitant former supporters of Voight to hurry and express their willingness.

Emily Walker had a grim expression to her face. Ever since the second prince won the battle between the princes and gained the title of the crown prince her boyfriend Kleever Anthony had been missing.

Kleever's family was a loyal supporter of the crown prince and one of their major force as they held complete power in the southern border of Arcadia kingdom. Ever since Lux had defeated Voight many of Voight's supporters jumped the ship and became supporters of Lux, of course after paying certain amount of gifts, assets to coax Lux and to satisfy his vanity. However this was an option only for normal supporters and unfortunately the Anthony family was one of loyal and main supporter of Voight Arcadia.

All such main supporters were either ripped off from their position i.e if they were a medium level family their assets would be seized and business would be taken over by other supporters of Lux until they no longer have much and seize to be considered as a family while some clan might be wiped out through massacres.

Being a dominant military clan and holding a strong position in southern border the Anthony family had been a golden egg which had been in the eye of their rival clans who wanted to monopolize the trade routes in the southern border. These families were also privy to the fact that southern border was the best place for slave trading, drugs smuggling and human trafficking.

Previously no one dared to have any such thought on Anthony family because of the crown prince but as of now it was a huge treasure trove waiting to be devoured. Kleever Anthony who was the second son of the Anthony family was also one of the targets, not for the older generation but for the younger generation i.e the Younger generation from clans which support Lux Arcadia.

The second the news of second Prince's victory came to be known Kleever was called back to his clan and he had left in a hurry while promising to Emily and his fiancee who was also his childhood friend that he would return for them. His fiancee was someone who was also from a medium class family so Kleever was not that much worried, it was Emily who comes from a simple background the one whom he was most worried.

Many people in the Academy knew that Emily was Kleever's girlfriend and the academy was filled with nobles sons and daughters from different background and different factions. Also considering the fact that Emily was beautiful and garnered the attention of many male he was worried that someone might harm her but he did not have much of a choice other than going back to his clan alone.

Considering Emily's lack of background he would have to get the permission from his father as well as the patriarch of the clan even for giving her the status of a concubine. Such was the fate of someone from a bigger background and fairy tale love stories were simply not possible in the ruthless and materialistic world.

Though on first few days she had heard from her boyfriend Emily lost all contact on the fifth day of his travel. She had been subject to harassment from the day Kleever had left by some of the male students who had previously tried to court her and by some of the female members whom Kleever had previously rejected.

Kleever's fiancee did not face much harassment because of her background and the guards around her however the bullying and harassment became more and more vicious towards Emily. Kleever's fiancee did to a certain extent save her from bullying it was impossible to save her all the time.

Emily's grim face was not only due to harassment and Kleever's absence but also due to the fact her only protection Kleever's fiancee seem to be going back to her clan and Emily would be left all alone without any ability to fend off her enemies. Emily had a bit of doubt as it was uncharacteristic of Kleever's fiancee to not invite her to come and with a bit of deduction Emily could understand that the family of Kleever's fiancee had defected to Lux Arcadia's faction. That means she had abandoned Kleever.

Knowing that her own safety was going to be compromised Emily planned to return back to her home and had made some preparations quietly. She had even hidden this fact from Kleever's fiancee and had planned to smuggle herself back to She'll city.

Being partnered with Kleever and having experience as a merc in the capital Emily had known one or two black routes which criminals use to travel from one city to another. According to the black market broker from whom she bought the ticket, they were going to travel via carriages carrying agricultural products in other words they were going to be stuffed in containers and the carriage is going to pass through many number of small cities and villages and the smuggled passengers can decide where to be dropped off and the price is based on the distance up to which they were transported.

With her escape route set she finally sighed in relief while gritting her teeth to endure just one day of bullying and made way to her dorm room in the academy to pack her stuff.

Meanwhile the water palace had been changed completely on the inside based on the taste of Lux Arcadia. This had been done within a period of 5 days from the day of his victory and claiming all Voight's assets. The palace which had been decorated mildly with exquisite vases and paintings were given bright and gaudy colours and filled with erotic paintings. The library had been evacuated and the books, well the stupid and horny Lux had planned on burning them just to spite his brother but was quickly taken away by his uncle Luther while cursing in his mind of the useless nephew he had to take care of.

They were treasures to every mage and he was not about to watch them get destroyed. On the day of completion of the change in the interior decoration of the palace Lux had thrown a huge party to his associates and his young noble perverted friends and had turned his brother's palace into a nest, a place to conduct licentious activities. Yes, the day King heard about this he nearly vomited blood that the palace had been turned into a high class brothel for perverts. In there all kinds of evil perversions took place that even hearing them made the king's stomach churn.

This person was Voight and at this moment his eyes were both cold and crazy waiting for his time to take revenge. He had over the course of his career as a mage came across many mercs and today he was about to meet them in an undisclosed location and was patiently planning to prepare for a cout.

He knew that once that useless brother of his ascended as the king it wouldn't be long before he becomes public enemy number one in the eyes of noble and public and a resistance would bound to happen. All he had to do was wait it out and may be create one by himself while hiding in shadows.
