Wherever You Are

When I next came to, there was a bottle of water seated on my night stand and a note attached to the bottom. I pushed myself up, grunting at the sore in my back before grabbing the note to read its contents.

Call me when you wake up. Time is no concern of mine.

I didn't think too much of the note and simply took a few swig of the refreshing liquid. I then draped my legs off the bed, pulling the covers off me when I noticed I was dressed in something I didn't recall putting on. I scratched at my chin before settling to stand up.

My back nearly gave out as I stumbled and fell back onto the bed. I grumbled beneath my breath as I was reminded of what had happened, pausing as my mind processed everything.

My cheeks flushed and I screamed internally as I hugged a pillow, contemplating my existence. I stared into the distance as I nit-picked at my choices.

Why did I agree?!
