Attentiveness... Is Hot...

"Cain..." I touched his face, craving at least a peck on the cheek when he pulled back.

"Maybe after a shower? It might linger." He pats my head, loosening his grip around my waist as I furrow my brows.

"What will?" I pout, confused by his statement as I took a step back and studied his face.

"The pepper spray. Maybe you should wash up. We can borrow the showers of the swim club. It was basically that guy's girlfriend's fault to begin with." Cain suggested, folding his legs as his hands held onto the edges of the table to support his body.

"But you also hugged me... What's the difference between a small kiss?" I frowned, folding my arms as he chuckled.

"You smell like pepper spray. Made my nose a little itchy. It'll also feel much more comfortable in a different set of clothing." Cain smiles gently, squeezing my shoulder lightly as he gets off the desk and headed for his desk.
