When I came to, Cain had been staring at me. I swiped the drool from my lips and looked away feeling embarrassed.

"Are you well rested?" Cain asks in a soft voice as I nodded.

"Alright. Stay there. I'll get the door." Cain got out from his side of the door before walking over to open mine.

I held his outstretched hand as he leads me out of the car. As I peel my eyes off of him, I suddenly realised that there were people standing in a straight line with their heads lowered.

It sorta reminds me of those classic scenes in yakuza stories where they greet the boss enthusiastically. Eh, wait a second that's not it... How long have they been standing here in this position?!

"C-Cain... how long have I been asleep?" I tugged on the hem of his sleeve as he glance over at me with an innocent look on his face and simply smiled.

"You were asleep the entire journey here."
