The Stranger

Everything felt like I was a bystander watching from the outside. It took everything I had to convince the man to let me at least stay in the same school as Cain. 

However, I had overheard from one of the workers sent to watch me from the main house that every single business venture with the Addles had been cancelled. I had initially thought Darien's family were dependent on the Addles so it came as a surprise. 

But what was worse... was the fact that the man who turned out to be Darien's father had found out I was an omega. He threatened to shut every single one of Darien's accounts and to disown me if I were to disobey his words. 

Which takes me to the current situation... 

"I didn't know the Thorne family had omegas." A slightly older man said as he takes a bite in the meal before him.
