Two Should Be A Crowd!

I took a few minutes to catch my breath and calm my nerves before getting up and heading towards the door. It was fortunate that this period happened to be PE and I had convinced the teacher to let me collect the recordings of the activities my classmates were about to do instead of participating.

I leisurely walked over to my classroom, retrieving the book the teacher had handed to me and instructed me on how to fill it in. I paused in my tracks, glancing at Cain's seat as I rubbed the back of my head before walking over and pulling his seat out before sitting down.

I traced my fingers against the smooth surface of his desk, recalling the time we were deskmates. A small smile tugged on my lips before I got up and pushed his seat back.

Moments later, I was finally at the school's field where my classmates were running laps while the teacher watched. I approached the teacher as he nodded and blew his whistle to indicate the free time.
