Fraser's Kingdom! The Royal and Noble's meeting!
Early in the morning, we all continue our journey, we still have 10 hours to reach Bulark's Kingdom. I can't wait to see the kingdom and meet my parents and also to change our classes. We take a lunch break near the river, I'm practicing with my black wooden sword while Shive and Zee watching me. Edith and Vivi studying on the riverside, Kiel and Vex training on the field. After we finished our lunch and go back to the carriage, we immediately start moving. Finally, we can see the kingdom from afar, 2 hours left to reach the Kingdom. Vivi and Kiel looking outside to see the beautiful kingdom, Zee and the others are sleeping.
We finally arrived at Bulark's Kingdom in the afternoon, the kingdom is huge, so many people walking around and the people are looking very happy, so many stores selling weapons, equipment, clothes, and goods. We kept moving and entered a gate and it's a long bridge. The castle is surrounded by a lake, it took us 10 minutes to just reach the entrance gate. We arrived and get out of the carriage, and Rorin says,
"Here are the rewards, 10 Gold coins for each one of you."
Zee replies,
"You can give my party rewards to Val's party, Mister Rorin. We're doing this just for fun, and we always wanted to go to Bulark's Kingdom. So this is enough for us."
He replies,
"Ohh are you sure Mister Zee? And can I ask you all a favor again, Mister Zee and Mister Val?"
We asked what is it. He replies,
"I know this is too much to ask, but I saw your capability in handling things and from yesterday's incident. Do you guys want to be our personal guard for a week? Of course, it includes staying a whole week at the Royal Palace and we will pay you more than this."
Maybe I can meet my father there if I accept the offer, I will accept it but I don't know about Zee and his friends, so I asked them and they are okay with it. Zee says,
"Sure but my party doesn't need any rewards, just give it to Val's party instead."
He thanked us and we all go inside the castle, turns out, there is a meeting with all the nobles around the world to discuss something. Rorin doesn't know what this meeting about and nobody knows, until tomorrow's meeting. Zee and his friend's face become a bit bitter when they heard that. We followed Myord family and we meet King Bulark and my father beside him. He surprised seeing me here and he says,
"Val?!! What are you doing here? How did you get here? I thought you're in Crude Village."
I reply,
"Hello father, I'm here with my friends. We were escorting Myord's family from Crude Village, and we are temporary will be their personal guard. Ohh and I'm the party leader, let me introduce my friends.
1. Viviette Leyhem 15 years old, A High Priest.
2. Kiel Farhan 15 years old, A Arch Mage.
3. Val Belliot 15 years old, A Swordmaster.
Pardon my rudeness, your highness, I'm Hugh Belliot's son. I'm so happy to see him, we haven't met for a few months and I'm too excited."
I bowed to King Fraser. King Fraser replies,
"Ohh this is your son you have been talking about? Look at him, strong like his old man. I will give you a time to talk with your son, Hugh."
The King left with the Myord family. My Father says,
"I received a letter from you last month that you're an adventurer now. And look at you now, I can tell from your eyes that you're a man now. And you already a Swordmaster in a month?! How is that possible?"
I reply,
"Actually father, I'm about to change class after this, and so are my friends. We're about to be Tier 3 class father."
He shocked and laughed then says,
"Nonsense?! How strong are you Val? You're about to be a Slasher just in a month?! How about we spare and let your father see your strength."
I reply,
"I'm about to ask the same question father, I would like to spar with you as well."
When we're having a great time, my father asked who are those people behind me, they look strong. I reply,
"Ohh let me introduce them, father, they're the ones who help me to get this far. I'm always indebted to them. They are The Black and White party.
1. Mister Zee 24 years old, a Swordsman and the party leader.
2. Miss Edith 24 years old, a Priest.
3. Miss Shive 24 years old, a Knight.
4. Mister Den 24 years old, a Fighter.
5. Miss Secra 24 years old, a Bard.
6. Mister Vex 24 years old, a Jester
Miss Shive and Mister Zee are the ones who trained me."
Father replies,
"My gratitude for taking care of my son, I'll also in debt to all of you, is there anything you all want as repayment for my son? And a Tier 1? Are you sure they're Tier 1 class Val?"
in nods and they showed my father their licenses. Zee says,
"If it's possible, can we meet with the King alone? We're not going to do any harm, we just have an important message for him and him only. But again, if it's possible, we're not forcing you."
My father's face becomes suspicious and says,
"I don't think I can do that Mister Zee, my King's safety is my responsibility and I can't risk that from some stranger, I'm sorry but I can do something else if you want."
Zee replies,
"That's unfortunate. We don't want anything else, we only want to meet your King. Well then, I think Me and my friends are needed by the Myord family. Thank you for your time, Mister Hugh."
Zee and the others left to meet the Myord family. My father then asks,
"Who are they, Val? They look suspicious but at the same time, they're not bad people. In fact, they're the most honest people I've ever seen."
I reply,
"At first I thought the same thing father, I'm always questioning myself who they really are. But one thing I know, that they're not bad people and I can trust my life to them without a doubt."
My father still looking at them and looks like he's reconsidering what Zee said earlier. Then my father showed us around the castle and it's already night, he showed us our rooms and said goodbye. Zee came in and told me to come to the ladies' bedroom. When we're inside, Zee says,
"For tomorrow's meeting, Mister Rorin asked me to send 2 people to guard him in the meeting. I choose Shive and Val for that duty. Val, if you could, can you tell all of us what they're talking about in the meeting tomorrow?"
I nodded, and we spent the night talking. Vivi and Kiel will go to town and get a promotion quest and become a Tier 3 class with Edith and Secra while Den, Vex, and Zee will be guarding Miss Myord and her son. We finished talking and the guys left and go to our room to get some sleep.
Early in the morning, I woke up and go outside the castle to jog with the black wooden sword with me and checking the capital city. Since I never been here because we lived in our old house before my father became a noble far from the capital city. I left home at the same time when my family moved to the capital city. I have 4 hours before the meeting today. I jog to the north side of the kingdom and checking what's in the north. I see the adventurer guild there, I will tell them later and I see a smithing store, maybe with my money, and collect some rare ingredients for my new sword. My sword that my father gave me is still great, but I'm thinking to wield 2 swords like Zee and Shive. Ohh maybe I'll ask Shive to give me another black wooden sword so I can train both my hands with it. Well not now, but later when I'm able to wield this sword with one hand. The sun is already up, I have to go back and prepare before the meeting.
I'm back in my room and took a bath, I heard knocking on the door and the butler said that Rorin Myord is waiting for me in the dining room to grab breakfast together. I noded and goes to the ladies' bedroom to bring Shive with me because she's also will be guarding him later in the meeting. I and Shive arrived at the dining room, Rorin and his family are waiting for us and told us to sit with them and eat breakfast together. Rorin says,
"Mister Val and Miss Shive, the meeting will begin in an hour from now. We already prepared your outfit for later, the King himself gift it to all the personal guard of the noble. So after we finished, the butler will show you the way to get changed."
Shive replies,
"I'll prefer using my own outfit but I'll thank the King for the outfit myself."
Rorin nods and we eat our breakfast together while talking about our first day in the castle. After we were done eating, the butler showed me the way to get changed. It's a fine attire with sapphire color, white gloves, and white fine quality pants and white boots. This is too expensive to wear, this alone worth 100 Gold. I'm not worthy to wear this, also Rorin said the outfit will be ours so I can wear it or sell it, it's up to me now. After I changed my outfit I came out and Shive outside staring at me and says,
"Heh, too rich for my blood. But it looks good on you."
Rorin is waiting for me in the dining room and we go to the meeting room.
