Mastered the Dark Arts!
3 days have passed.
Aisha hasn't gotten back. We all keep training because we only have 2 days left before we go to Babylon Mountain to help Shive. It's evening already, and we all gathering in the living room to play with Silvia, Sinista, and Albert.
"I'm back."
We all look behind and there she is, the missing woman, and she brought 8 books. Aisha says,
"I brought 8 books, these are a gift from me for Vivi and Kiel. For Vivi, I give you the 4 sacred books,
1. Book of Codex: A manual to learn the mighty holy spells for all kinds of buffs etc.
2. Book of Elude: A manual to learn the techniques of evading and blocking.
3. Book of Perfection: A manual to master your accuracy and precision. Since you want to use a bow.
4. Book of Virtues: A manual to learn and master the 7 virtues.
For Kiel, I give you the 4 profane books,
1. Book of Necronomicon: A manual to learn the forbidden spells about manipulation.
2. Book of the Dead: A manual to control the dead and the summoned, also its secrets.
3. Book of Damned: A manual to learn cursed spells and dark spells.
4. Book of Sins: A manual to learn and master the 7 deadly sins.
I hope you like it."
Vivi says,
"Thank you so much, Miss Aisha! I'll use it for good."
Kiel says,
"WAAAAAAAAAHHHH THANK YOU MISS AISHA! I WILL USE IT UNTIL IT'S UNREADABLE!"
Aisha laughed and replies,
"What are you both talking about? It's one-time use only. Once you opened the book, it will get absorbed into your body and mind. So you don't have to read it, and it will become a memory that will never be forgotten. Try it."
Vivi and Kiel are staring at each other and nod. They opened the books and immediately it all got absorbed into their bodies. Their expressions showed us that they are having a blast with the power that Aisha gifted to them, and they're already busy with their own world. I ask,
"What are those books, Aisha?"
Aisha replies,
"Those are my own knowledge that I wrote on blank memory papers and made it into a book. So whoever opened it, they will immediately learn and mastered its knowledge, as if it's their own memories."
I reply,
"That's really nice. I can't stop smiling because looking at their faces is making me really happy."
Aisha asks,
"Do you also want it?"
I shake my head and says,
"It's okay. I'm really grateful for what you did to them, and that's like a gift for me."
Aisha is smiling and put her index finger on my forehead, and says,
"You know I can just transfer all my knowledge and power to you. But I don't think you can withstand them. Here, taste a pinch amount of my knowledge."
Before I can reject her offer, I immediately had a blast of memories. I don't know what are those memories are, but I can tell that something is different, my mind and body accepting the power that Aisha gave me. I ask,
"What is this power? My mind is processing all the new things."
Aisha replies,
"I gave you the knowledge of the saint swordplay and all kind of swordsmanship, including the forbidden and the unknown, also the art of Tranquility. You will master it when you read your own memory, and I also gave you the same knowledge as Vivi, the Book of Elude. Now, what you need to do is to train your body so that knowledge will be effective in combat. I know you really don't want that, but a little help from me is what you need right now."
I bow and says,
"Thank you very much for everything Aisha. I will use it for the greater good."
Aisha nod and says,
"Good! Now you might want to try to meditate to master Dark Arts. I'm pretty sure that you can master it in a single night with the help of Tranquil. I already mastered it in a few minutes, when Tessera teach me how to do it."
She released Fear aura, and all of us get on our knees trembling with fear, worse than when Zee showed it to us. I can't breathe, can't open my eyes, having nausea, sweating, and crying. Except for Edith and Zee, they just sit on the chair like it's nothing serious. Aisha surprised when looking at Zee and Edith, she says,
"Wow, you both really are something else huh..."
Edith replies,
"Hmm, it's because I have immunity to all kind of harm. The light power that I learned, small information about it from your soul fragments, and somehow I managed to master it."
Aisha booing Edith, and Edith is just laughing at Aisha. Zee says,
"Can you stop oozing your aura, Aisha? Vivi, Kiel, and Val over there is about to pass out."
Aisha immediately canceled her aura and says,
"I'm so sorry, Vivi and Kiel..."
She runs towards them and hugs them.
I reply,
"What about me?!"
Aisha chuckled and says,
"What about you? You can handle yourself, right?"
I'm lying on the ground and catching my breath while giving Aisha a thumbs up. After that, I asked Vivi and Kiel to meditate together and told them about what Aisha said, that we can master Dark Arts in a single night after receiving such a tremendous amount of knowledge. They agreed and we all went to my bedroom. We are meditating in my room, and as soon as I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, a bright path appears. Before I received the power from Aisha, the path was all black, and it's almost impossible to find the string to reach the orb. But now, I just need to follow the bright path.
6 hours have passed. I'm still following the bright path, and my body gained a lot of power. When I'm still following the path, I can see the brighter light from far away.
2 hours have passed. I finally reached the end of the path. A massive orb as bright as the sun. When I reach the orb, my body feels hot and I opened my eyes. Steam coming out from my whole body, and it's getting thicker. Then suddenly the steam I just released, got absorbed back into my body, and an amazing feeling running through my veins non-stop. I looked at Vivi and Kiel, their bodies also releasing thick steam. Both of them still haven't gotten to the end of the path. It's already early in the morning, and I haven't eaten yet. My stomach is growling, but I have to wait for both of them, so we can go get some food together.
30 minutes later, Kiel opened her eyes and surprised by the steam coming out from her body, and then she absorbed it back inside. I wave at her, and she waves me back. She is pointing at her stomach and I can hear her stomach growling as well. We chuckled softly and wait for Vivi to finish her meditation.
15 minutes later, Vivi opened her eye, and she made the same reaction as us, as well as growling sounds from her stomach.
I say,
"This steam is our Aura, right? So, if we want to make someone scared/admires/comfortable around us, we just need to release them and choose which aura we want to use?"
Kiel replies,
"Yep! Exactly. Let's try it out!"
Vivi replies,
"But which Aura do we want to release?"
We all are staring at the ceiling and think. I say,
"Want to test the Fear Aura? And go outside the castle to eat at the pub, while releasing the Aura on our way there and see if it works or not?"
Kiel with her evil grinning while Vivi looking at her with worries, but they both nod and so we are going to eat at the pub. We are outside the castle gate.
We are looking at each other and nod. We released the Fear Aura and immediately the steam came out from our bodies and our surrounding area covered with our steam. It didn't affect our vision at all, the steam became transparent, but we can feel it. We see the guards behind us fell on the ground and their hands are trembling crazily. So basically they can't see the steam, and only us who mastered the Dark Arts can see it. I approached the guards and their whole bodies are trembling even worse than before. Before I can ask them, they passed out from frightened. I feel bad for them, and so we start to walk to the pub.
We are walking in the middle of the street. I'm showing my mad expression, while Kiel grinning with excitement and it made her eyes wide opened, which is making her scarier than mine, and Vivi is covering her eyes because she doesn't want to see the people's reactions, which is also making her look scarier, like an assassin who is lurking in the middle of the night to find her target. The people are falling on their knees because of frightened, their hands and knees are trembling crazily. Some of them are even screaming because they didn't know what happened and it made them panic. But one thing for sure, they all are too scared to look at us. Demons, Elves, Fairies, Beast Kin, and the others are far more superior than humans. They all are trembling with fear because of us. I don't even know what will happen if the three of us released the same Aura to the other humans. I say,
"Let's conceal our Aura... I feel bad for them."
Vivi and Kiel nod with agreement. I can only say thank you and sorry in my head to them because we used them to test our Aura. We concealed our Aura and the steam immediately get back inside to our bodies, and we can hear the people are exhaling loudly and trying to stand up.
