Welcoming the new party member and a big reveal! Part 2

I'm staying because I wanted to ask Shive to make my training a lot harder since we have a new party member, which means I got more responsibility to makes sure their safety. She understood and will be a bit more serious from now on, meaning I will get more injuries. Then out of curiosity and since they trust me I ask Shive,

"Miss Shive, how strong are you? And everyone here as well, including Zee. I promise I won't tell anyone about this!"

They sat there in silence, and Edith nods to Shive like saying. It's okay to tell him the truth. Then Shive says,

"Our strength is beyond your imagination Val, those Hybrid Classes won't stand a chance against us, that's why we didn't bother to get our class change, and Vex is actually not even a Bard, and yet he can become Jester in a month easily, he is actually a Mage. If you're asking who is the strongest at our party. It's big brother Zee no doubt. His strength is beyond our reach even if we all 5 fight him, the second strongest is me. The Third is big sister Edith, she's a priest but don't you dare to try to make her angry, even Den and Vex get beaten up easily by her, the fourth will be Den and Vex, they never win a duel against each other. Last is Secra because she never showed her true power yet because she hates fighting, but since she's the older sister of Edith and Den, her power should be equal or even more than Edith. So Val, are you satisfied now?"

I'm speechless and sat there trembling, so this is the truth I have been looking for, and yet I regretted it. I can't look at them in the same way anymore, I would never imagine that they're far beyond a human can reach, that's it! They're not human beings, I remember Shive said "her people." that's the only conclusion I can get. I nodded and laughed nervously. Then Secra says,

"Val, you can keep it a secret right? That would be a shame if for some reason someone knows about it other than you. We would have to destroy this village without any witnesses of our identity."

She smiles. I nodded many times. Even Secra could say such a thing, meaning this village will be destroyed if I didn't keep my promise. Then I reply,

"I promise with my life that I will never tell anyone about this, I have one last question, it's nothing personal to you guys. Why from all the places, you all pick Crude village?"

Secra says,

"Do you remember what I said at the market? that we will follow wherever Zee goes, he is our leader and we never doubted every single decision he made, but the reason is we all love this village, the people, and the place, and of course we're here also because of Fraser Bulark."

I understood if they are that strong, they all must have a connection between all the Kings and Queens, we talked about other things, I got enough answers from them, no more questions about it. But even though they're not someone you want to be messing with, they're the kindest and caring people that I have ever met. I'm getting sleepy so I said goodbye to them and go to the Inn. As soon as I arrive at the Inn, I go to my room, but I heard laughter from Vivi's room, I think Kiel and Vivi are getting along well. I don't want to interrupt them, it's a girl's talk, I remembered when I butt in when my mom and my aunt were having a girl's talk and they beat me for disturbing them. I go to my room and go to bed.

The next morning, I went jogging and then take a bath. When I'm back at the Inn, I see Kiel just woke up with her messy hair half asleep and wandering the Inn. I ask,

"Good morning, Kiel. What are you doing?"

She replies while yawning,

"Goo..mon..ing Val, I'm hungry..."

I laughed and wake Vivi up after they washed their faces. We went to the food place near the Church and eat beef stew. Kiel is eating so fast that she ordered another one. I think she has a rubber stomach or something even though her body is small. While she munching on her beef she says,

"Wyar wehoin toho how (What are we going to do now)."

I don't think I understand what she's saying but Vivi can. Then she replies,

"Oh every morning we go to the training ground, I'm studying with Miss Edith while Val is training with Miss Shive, you can come and watch if you want to? We don't have any Mage friend to teach Kiel about magic."

I reply,

"We do, Mister Vex can... I'll ask him myself, so how about you guys go-ahead to the training ground and I'll bring him to teach you, Kiel?"

Kiel so happy that she choked on her food, she says,

"THANK YOU VAL, I WILL BE VERY HAPPY IF YOU DO THAT FOR ME!!"

After they finished eating breakfast, they went to the training ground, and I went to the market to find Vex. I know his favorite spot, which is on top of the tree observing the villager from there. After I arrived I go to the bench under the tree when we first met him, and there he is humming a song that Secra likes to play. I say,

"Mister Vex, can I ask you a favor? You said you're interested in Kiel about her unique magic, I know I'm nobody to you, but if you want to. Would you like to teach her magic spells?"

Vex smiling and landed in front of me, and laughed then he says,

"Hohoho little one needs a teacher? I shall. Where to? little one?"

I'm so happy and thanked him, he just laughed. I said that we all are going to train in the training ground. Edith, Den, and Shive will be there as well. After hearing that, Vex calling Secra and asking her to come along, she agreed and we are all going to the training ground. When we arrived at the training ground Shive is waiting for me while Edith and Vivi already do their studies, I told Kiel that Vex will teach her magic and they went to the other side of the field, Den and Secra are sitting on the bench, and having a conversation. Today's training will be starting now. I picked up the wooden sword and ready my stance then Shive says,

"As you requested last night, the new objective is to hit me with your sword, if you can land a hit on me then we will advance to the next level."

I nodded and this will be interesting since Shive said that she will get a little more serious to train me. She readied her stance. Vivi and Kiel are watching me. As always Den is going to be the supervisor after Den gave the signal, I ran towards Shive to try to land a hit, but as soon as I get in range, Shive already disappeared and standing behind me, her speed is different from the usual, it's way faster. I turned around to try to tackle her but this time she jumped and hit me on the head with her knee, I'm in the mid-air and before I realized it, she jumped again and she's already in front of me and then she punched me on the face. Before my body flew away from the punch, she grabbed me and threw me to the ground. Her strength is also way more powerful than usual. After I hit the ground, my vision is getting blurry, I threw up blood, she broke my jaw and my backbone from hitting the ground, I blinked my eyes and she already stabbed me in the chest, She tried to kill me from now on. Before I passed out from bleeding, Vivi chanted a recovery spell. I get on my knees and thinking this is her power when she's a little more serious. Kiel is screaming in fear and approached me and says,

"Wh-What is happening, Val are you okay? All your wounds, it's all gone now. I thought you're going to die, what kind of training is this?!! And how is she that strong for a Tier 1 class?! Waaaaaaaa this is scary!"

Everyone is laughing, and Kiel looking at us with confusion and I say,

"This is my daily training Kiel, don't worry about it. I can endure this pain and this is not that painful as the last time she did to me."

Kiel shocked and says,

"Val... A-are you a masochist?"

We all laughed so hard. This is the first time we all laughing this hard, but I told her that it's okay and doesn't have to worry about me and focus on her own training with Vex. She nods and goes back to Vex to learn about magic. I stand up and ready my stance again, and Den gave the signal again. We trained for 6 hours. Not a single hit I land on her, I broke more than 50 bones and I passed out every single time. Vivi can't handle that many recoveries spell so Edith also helping me. After we all done training, we went to Gyne to grab lunch together, everyone is talking and asking how's their training. Then we heard a familiar voice,

"Yo, long time no see everyone."

We look back and there he is, Zee is looking cool as always. Edith, Shive, Secra ran towards him and hugged him, then Kiel asked who is that guy. Zee noticed that there is a new person in there and introduce himself,

"Hi, my name is Zee. I'm the party leader of these guys, nice to meet you."

Kiel introduced herself and told him everything. We told Zee everything that happened last week, he congratulates me and Vivi and asked me how's my training going, I told him everything went... brutally... he laughed and pat me on the back. We talked more about our days to Zee, he is joking around as always, they are all laughing and smiling. With Zee around it seems like their party is like coming back to life, he is really a great party leader. After we were done talking, Zee says,

"Yo Val, do you still want to train with Shive?"

I reply,

"Yeah, she's awesome. She's showing me no mercy at all. The more I'm feeling hopeless, the more motivated I become. Truthfully, I'm starting to have chemistry with her than you Mister Zee."

I said as a joke and laughed. He laughed and says,

"I didn't know that Shive shows her interest in anyone. By the way, since when you became a masochist Val?"

I cannot deny his statement. I just laughed and said it's because of Shive. She smiles and continues drinking. It's already afternoon, we plan to get a C Grade quest on the guild's board. We went downstairs and grabbed a quest. We are hunting Rabbitwolves with Kiel this time. She can use ice, water, fire magic. She mastered 3 elements at Tier 1. She's not weak at all. She's even stronger than any Tier 1 Mage. Is it because of Vex or her own I don't know, but I remember Vex said that she's unique, if she with Vex, she will be the best Mage than my mom and my aunt? But her downside is that she easily gets panicked and scared, but that's not really a big problem, as long as we are together, we can do anything. After we hunted down the Rabbitwolves, we go back to Gyne and confirmed the quest.
