Blueth Mendoza's POV
"When I say let go, let go of me, got it?"
"Got it."
Rachelle then started twirling as she has her fingertips touching mine. "Now!"
And with that, I let her go and she started spinning towards a fallen stadium light. Using the speed of her spin, she kicked the fallen lights and it turned on. Luckily, the lights were pointing towards the monster and when they turned on, they shone a blinding light at the monster's eyes, causing it to be blinded by the light. As the monster howled in pain, Ms. Val got freed from its grip.
Rachelle smiled at me and I knew exactly what she was thinking. I held out my hand and she started sway dancing towards me. When she got close enough, she held out her hand, I grabbed it and pulled her close to me.
"Hi." I said as I smiled at her.
"Hello."
We smiled at each other and started sway dancing towards the monster, hitting a few of the fallen lights along the way making them turn on, blinding the monster with their light.
The monster let out a roar as it slowly backed away. The fallen lights were conveniently surrounding the monster, making it easy for us to trap it inside a big circle of blinding lights.
The monster howled in pain as it covered its eyes with its hands. But that was only for a little time, the monster then started smashing the lights surrounding it. After it smashed all of the lights, it let out a roar as it started backing away.
After a few minutes, I knew it got its eyesight back because it was now looking straight at us. Ms. Val quickly stood in front of us, readying herself to protect us.
"What do we do now!?" I screamed at Rachelle as I looked at the monster.
"I don't know! I thought that dancing would work! That's what I saw on that show I watched! Dancing worked for them when they were faced against a monster!"
"Hold on tight kiddos! This will be a long night!" Ms. Val said as she started waving her hand. She then pointed her fingertip in front of the monster and a bright light started appearing on her fingertip.
I thought that it would be the end for us, I thought that the monster would attack us, but I was wrong. The monster started growling as it was getting ready to pounce. It let out another roar before running towards the exit, running away.
"Well, that ended a bit anticlimactic." Ms. Val said as she looked at the direction the monster ran. "Anyway, let's make this quick."
Ms. Val faced Rachelle as she grabbed some sort of vial from her coat.
"What's that?" Rachelle said as she started backing away slowly.
"Relax kid, it's not poison. It's just a powder that makes you not remember this from ever happening." Ms. Val said as she started opening the vial.
"Wait, you'll make her forget everything?"
"Don't worry Blueth, I'm just going to make her forget about this day from ever happening. Just this day where she found out that I have magical powers."
"Wait!" I yelled making Ms. Val stop pouring the powder on top of Rachelle. "Can you just make her forget about the part where I told her that you have magical powers?"
"Why?" Ms. Val said as she looked at me.
"Well, I don't want her to forget about this prom."
"Wait, why are you talking about erasing my memories like I'm not here? And why do I need to get my memories erased?" Rachelle said as she looked at both me and Ms. Val.
Ms. Val gave a smile as she looked at Rachelle.
"What's going on?" Rachelle asked as she has her back against a table that was standing on its side.
"Don't worry kid, I'm only doing this so I won't get in trouble. And since I'm erasing your memories, I want you to know that Blueth has a crush on you."
My eyes widened as I heard Ms. Val say these words to Rachelle.
"I what!?"
"She what?"
"Okay, time's up. Byeeee."
Ms. Val then started pouring the powder on her hands and blew them towards Rachelle's face.
Ms. Val then backed up and stood beside me. "That should do it."
"Why'd you say that? I am not gay for her!"
"You're saying that now kid, but later you'll start having feelings for her. Anyway, you might want to bring her to someplace away from here so she won't get scared or something."
"Wait, what memory did you erase from her head?"
"Don't worry kid, I only erased the memory of you telling her that I have magical powers. The memory of the two of you fighting that monster is still in her head. Seriously though, you need to learn to keep secrets, you might get me into trouble."
"I'm sorry."
Ms. Val let out a sigh as she poured some powder in her hands. "Alright, time to make you forget about this whole monster attack thing."
"What? Why do I have to forget it?"
"Well, I don't want you having any traumas or something."
"There's no need for that Ms. Val. Besides, I've seen Cathy talk and I'm still not traumatized by a talking cat."
"That's because there's no terror in Cathy, only cuteness. And also, laziness." Ms. Val let out a sigh as she returned the powder into the vial. "Well, guess there's nothing I can do if you don't want to forget about this. But if ever you get nightmares, let me know and I'll throw some of this stuff on your face."
I smiled and gave Ms. Val a hug. "Thank you, Ms. Val!"
Ms. Val smiled and kissed me on the forehead. "I know you want to cherish your memories with your crush."
"She's not my crush!"
Ms. Val let out a giggle as she started waving her hand around. "You should take her someplace far away from here as I start cleaning up."
I gave a nod to Ms. Val as I tried carrying Rachelle bridal style. All that dancing we did must've made me strong, I can lift Rachelle now, last time I checked I couldn't even lift a medium-sized rock.
I carried Rachelle to the tree beside the lake she carried me to earlier since that's the only place I know where I can place her. Plus, I can't really go looking for some other place because that would take too long and Ms. Val said that I should hurry up before she wakes up. I feel like I'm doing a kidnap or something.
Minutes of walking and we finally reached it. I set her down, making her back lean against the tree. After I set her down, she started waking up.
"Blueth?" She said as she started blinking her eyes slowly, making them adjust to the moonlight surrounding us.
"Had a nice nap?" I asked as I sat beside her.
"What happened? Where are we? Why aren't we in the stadium?" Rachelle suddenly stopped talking and looked at me. She placed both of her hands on my shoulder and started shaking me. "The monster!? What happened!? We need to stop it!"
I let out a giggle as I looked at her. "Don't worry about that, we took care of it remember?"
"We did?"
"Uh-huh, remember? We started kicking the lights and they surrounded the monster. Then, the monster smashed all of the lights and ran away. We must've scared it away with our horrible dancing." I said as I let out a giggle.
"I see." Rachelle replied as she gave a little sigh. "Glad that that's settled, dancing against that is tiring." Rachelle looked up towards the sky as she leaned her head on my shoulder. "The stars look so beautiful."
I smiled as I looked at the stars as well. "Yeah, they sure are."
Don't start having gay panics Blueth, please.
