The hardy scale of a prideful and powerful golden dragon, a national treasure from a fallen kingdom of a fantasy world. Legend has it that when the king prayed to this very scale, the golden dragon would bless the kingdom with fertile lands and an impenetrable barrier.
Enhances scales and skin durability: skin will become capable of blocking low caliber armaments, scales would become capable of blocking of nonspecific high caliber rounds.

"Why is the remark overly specific and overly killjoy right now?"
The corner of Lizzy's lips twitched and a vein bulged on her head, the remark didn't even let her imagine a life of invincibility, she placed the scale in her inventory and dug through piles of gold again, but after some time she discovered that only the scale and some weapons were worthwhile.
She pocketed the weapons since they were made with the bones of dangerous creatures and due to that she could eat them as snacks to gain some genodes.
She walked around the spacious room and found a lectern on one corner of the room, she approached it and found that it had a closed book on it, the leather cover had an eye on the middle with black vein like protrusions around it, she walked towards it and slowly stood up on two legs while using the lectern as support, a giant lizard standing on its two hind legs would look weird if someone spotted her right now.
She opened the book and suddenly the room glowed with life, a figure that looked like a spectral manifestation of bones opened the giant red door behind Lizzy and she couldn't help but turn and get ready for combat.
"Wasn't the Red door broken!?"
Lizzy was ready to attack at any sign of hostility as the figure got nearer as nearer, once it was just a few meters away, she lunged at it with an open mouth... but passed through as if it was air and landed on the ground with a pained groan.
The figure walked to the lectern and opened a spectral book that was similar to what she had opened, a dignified voice then emanated from the manifestation as it began writing.
"Fall, Year 789.
The lad hiro has been researching some sort of method, a method at which even I cannot comprehend, I once entered his study and caught a glimpse of strange runes and magic circles that don't exist, just from that glimpse I can deduce that it doesn't work using mana since the historically developed mana system had to be refined over time to lessen accidents, I will need to find some time to ask the lad what he is creating."
Lizzy heard and looked at the lectern as she recovered her senses from the painful action she had just done, she saw then ghostly skeleton disappear along with its mage like robes and then reappear again by opening the door.
"Fall, Year 789.
The lad told me that it was a spell that can easily help us conquer the world and possibly give us a better life, I couldn't see any signs that the lad was lying to me and even if he did I am unable to execute the holy kingdoms truth magic to make him spill it all, anyway I don't believe the lad would lie to me"
The figure faded away again and the door was opened once again, this annoyed Lizzy a bit since she would get surprised by the sudden opening of the door.
"Fall, Year 789.
We are about to invade the holy nation and this might be my last journal entry so I've casted a long lasting projection spell on my journal, only when it is on this very cave and lectern will it be triggered and only when the dragon is gone, I haven't written in the past few days due to my own magic research, if only I had discovered this type of magic earlier I wouldve been able to avenge hiro and his people without disturbing their souls, the power that can be harvested by contracting with a creature from the void that is my research, this magic or should I just call it power blatantly now since I've used the word already comes with a backlash of madness, even now I'm hearing whispers in y head but I'm suppressing it to help hiro"
The projection suddenly turned it's head to look at the door and nodded.
"It's time for me to go to war, for the person or creature that happens to find this journal, you will have the legacy of my research... is what I wanted to say but this research is too dangerous for anything to attempt and uncover thus I have burned my own research, as a reward then for finding this journal I shall bestow upon you, the first one to open this journal a [Goddesses tear]"
The journal closed and the eyes on the cover shut itself, the body of the lectern opened and within it was a bottle filled with what seemed to be water with golden particles within it, Lizzy observed it and got the information to pop up.
