The Rowdy Children.

In the central part of the world, where the martial society was founded and born. Where large mountain ranges crisscrossed and large clouds and ancient trees seemed to cover every piece of land. Long winding rivers flowed through the great and expansive territory.

On a specific mountain that was blessed with red leaved trees and orange grass, in a rather large Courtyard two young children one man and another girl were fighting.

The man had a sleek sword that matched his scholar like appearance, the man had very sharp faces that seemed rather feminine and matched his thin figure.

The girl had two curved daggers like two curved moons each moving like the flutter of a wing. She seemed to move like a butterfly.

The young man seemed to fly like a bird as he slashed at the intricate daggers that crisscrossed, always maintaining a calm expression.

The young man finally said, "Junior sister your enlightenment in butterfly steps has made great advancement in the past few months, but you still need to work hard before the martial tour through the four countries and other martial sects. Most importantly this times tour is greatly turmoil filled and grim as the pavilion master of the Ice and Fire Pavilion their age limit at one thousand years."

The girl huffed and said, "I know big brother! Master repeated it like a million times before he left. Even senior sister that witch kept bugging me about it."

Yet right as the girl said that a chilly ghostly voice drifted, "Are you talking about me my cute junior sister?"

The girl seemed to have seen the scariest sight in the world and her twin braids rose. She hurriedly explained, "No senior sister Ara! Senior brother Yen what are you saying, honestly!"

The young man named Yen made a confused snort.

A girl with long cascading black hair appeared, in her armpit a thin sword in it's sheath laid. She had two blue eyes, and an outstanding face. Yet a cold grin was held on that pretty face much to the shaggrin of Yen.

Yen bowed slightly, "Yen greets Senior sister Ara."

The young girl similarly bowed and said, "Lucia greets Senior sister Ara."

Ara said, "Lucia we have said this many times because it's important. During this thousand year period numerous changes have happened in the world and it all started in the north."

Lucia said curiously, "What happened in the north?"

Yen said, "You just need to know we aren't going to the north for there are no opportunities there."

Lucia showed great interest and continued to pester the two.

Yen said, "Fine! The reason we are not travelling to the north is because it is a weak and dilapidated empire. The economy, military and even diplomatic relations with other countries are all in shambles. The once great Seven dragon empire is now a sliver of what it once was. Their land has been conquered and only a tiny scrap remains as if to haunt them of their failure. Why? The current Emperor. He was hot headed and kept making battles and wars he couldn't fight with any empire or group he could, he spent the empires money foolishly, he even made the west suzerain furious because he married and then beat his daughter. It was worse because it was found out he stopped her messages and Ultimately a servant who had fallen in love with her told the suzerain. Worse yet is his unchanging attitude, he killed officals, his generals everyone just for a moment of rage."

Lucia asked, "If the king was so bad why didn't the people revolt or dismantle the throne, or more importantly why aren't the completely conquered?"

It was Ara who answered, "The people feel not only shame, but fear that even the smallest movement would shake the stability they had finally obtained. The other empires do it to keep a quality between the remaining three. Not matter how much they divided one of the empires would not obtain the same as the other two and thus the north would cause more war. Of course there is also the matter of the respect the empires felt for the former king."

Lucia asked, "Who was the former king?"

Yen said, "A powerful and domineering man who never let things get out of his control, who also listened to wisdom. He was beloved and respected deeply, yet human nature cut him down."

The trio fell into an eerie depression. Suddenly Ara was spoke, "Anyway. Master not only dislikes the north for that he seems to have a hatred towards the north. So we will not be going there, furthermore remember to train hard until master returns in a month."

Yet as the Ara just finished her sentence a loud voice spread, "Hey, bastards of three tailed sect come out!"

Ara frowned deeply and dissapeared as if like wind and appeared atop the martial house roof overlooking a group of ten led by a large and masculine looking figure, yet that figure had two feminine eyes and aura. It was a large and well built woman who seemed to explode with muscles enough to make any man ashamed, yet funny enough she still looked very pretty. A large double headed axe resting on her shoulder.

Lucia quickly flashed to Ara and saw them and couldn't help exclaim, "Ice pavilion..."

Similar to the name the Ice Pavilion could figuratively chill the hearts of even the most blooded youth. Known for their abilities in information gathering, assassination and speed the Ice Pavilion was a force many had to take into consideration at all times. The Ice Pavilion was similar to an alpha predator like a leopard hiding and hunting from the shadows, with enough strength to easily maul his enemies yet still lies in wait.

The Ice Pavilion was formerly a sub sect of a martial dynasty, but later rose and took the throne themselves. Martial Dynasties like the name suggested meant many things. First it was where almost all of the central plains martial arts were born and spread from. Second they were an affiliation similar to a Kingdom with numerous sub divisions each hindered and made full of shortcomings to prevent an uprising. Third the term Dynasty wasn't some joke, the martial society had existed for tens upon tens of thousands of years, each Dynasty had seeped into the pages of history and through the shedding of blood had deeply planted themselves seemingly throughout all time. Martial Dynasties were also where all research and new martial arts were formed, they had similarly found a way to increase a Humans life span from around one hundred to one thousand.

How? Simple it was comparable to a man who didn't exercise, ate greasy food and led a bad lifestyle, compared to a man who exercised and remained fit, ate a well proportioned diet and kept a consistent lifestyle. One would obviously live longer than the other if external factors were removed. That was a metaphor for how martial artists have been able to live for one thousand years.

Perhaps the only reason why these explorers of things greater than the human species and masters of martial arts remain dormant in the central regions are because the empires to the four sides had just as much innovation and time cementing their status, and because the different martial dynasties all hold malice towards each other like hungry white eyed wolves.

The three disciples of three tailed sect felt great apprehension towards who they were facing today. Typically it wasn't uncommon for disciples to wander and approach different sects to gain understanding or advice, but simply the arrogant manners of the Ice Pavilion showed this wasn't a meeting of fellow martial artists it was most probably the meeting of a tiger and a cat.

The Ice Pavilion was one of the lowest sub sects of one of the former martial dynasties, but then they received their current pavilion head and the dynasty collapsed and the Ice Pavilion took over. Perhaps it was the generations of bullying and abuse, but the Ice Pavilion was very cruel and prone to violence. If someone hurt their disciples the Ice Pavilion wouldn't just let it be. It could be understood like this, if you annoyed the Ice Pavilion then the Ice Pavilion would send a disciple one level higher than the before one. If that one failed then another level higher, and so on. The Ice Pavilion wasn't one to drown in the unseen thing called pride, rather they focused on results. Even if the Pavilion master himself had to kill a simple ant, it wouldn't be seen as a waste to them.

Ara asked the large figure, "Head disciple of the three tailed sect greets, Ice Pavilion disciple Aqua. May this one ask why you have come up our peak?"

The muscular girl known as Aqua was quite famous and even though not strong enough to be in the top hundred of the Ice Pavilion was considerably strong. Unlike most martial artists she didn't focus of aesthetics or speed, she was like a charging bull and this fact led her to be fed a good amount of resources by the Ice Pavilion. Yes the Ice Pavilion was known for their speed, assassination and information gathering, but they still needed to be able to fight head on. Thus Aqua was comparable to a core disciple as she was one of the disciples who trained unorthodoxly in the Ice Pavilion and also had the best natural physique.

Aqua smiled such that her small eyes seemed to dissapear. A great sneer held on her high nose. She snorted, "My junior brothers and sister's need real combat experience and I thought your sect could indulge me. Furthermore I would like to compare with the head disciple and gain enlightenment."

Ara frowned and said, "Our master has ordered us to train diligently during this time. Such, I would like to apologise to sister Aqua, but my junior brother and sister as well as I need to continue our training. Furthermore it would be wise for sister to prepare aswell, the martial tour has always been a bloody and dangerous encounter."

Ara spoke quickly and made it so there was no opportunity to reply. She didn't want to face the Ice Pavilion, furthermore she had no need to.

Aqua smiled, "Since sister needs to train, we can exchange guidance. Isn't that best?"

Ara said, "Our sect disciple have little martial knowledge, thus any physical martial exchange would be unwise and worthless for the other party as well as us. Furthermore sister should know to exchange guidance the one instigating such a exchange needs to pay the master of the disciple an adequate fee."

With this Ara turned around and began to walk away.

Aqua smiled, "But sister I've heard the master isn't here."

Saying that Aqua slightly tilted her head with her eyes shut and a sneaky smile on her face. She seemed to be enjoying the role she was playing greatly

Ara stopped after Aqua said this.

Ara looked horrified and turned around and was met with the smile of Aqua causing her to feel coldness in her heart.

The movements of a martial sects master was supposed to be extremely secretive. Whether they were in the sect or not could be the difference between heaven and earth, thus martial sect masters were extremely careful only telling close aides and disciples. Although Ara knew the information gathering of the Ice Pavilion was great she couldn't believe to this extent, thus not only was she horrified of the fact that the news their master wasn't present had spread, but also that someone in their martial house had betrayed them.

Although Ara, Yen and Lucia were the only disciples there were numerous loyal servants and guards in the three tailed sect, many of which the three had grown up with. Yet now the sour feeling of betrayal spread in their mouths.

Ara quickly changed her expression from shock to peace, showing deep maturity and enlightenment.

Ara said with a cold voice, "Sister I have been very polite and asked you to rescind this overbearing request, yet you have pushed and pushed. I will say, leave now or I will fight with you to death and you should know that even if you win you won't be able to sleep peacefully with my master alive. The Ice Pavilion may be a tyrannical force, but it is not god nor is it benevolent, they will cut off an infected finger if it can't hurt them."

Aqua's smile slowly dissapeared and cold look like a serpent appeared hauntingly.

Aqua said calmly forcing a wave of cold much deeper and piercing that Ara's, "Sister all this one wishes to do is compare skills, why must sister threaten me and juniors? I am greatly displeased to hear your cruel remarks, this is not the courtesy one martial artist must give to another. The ancients say we must learn from each other to grow, if we remain stagnant in our self then we will forever remain animals. Why must you disparage the Ancients words and my humble request and desire?"

Ara said, "What is not wanted cannot be forced, to do as such is beyond cruel and disturbing!"

Aqua snorted, "Sister please do not try and humiliate me. Cruelty? Disturbing? Such large and malevolent words, why must they be used on my party? Fine, since sister is adamant there is nothing I can do."

Aqua then winked at a disciple behind her.

The disciple nodded and stepped forward. He roared in dignity and great reprimand, "How audacious! My senior sister arrived after many days simply to ask for an exchange of martial arts for both parties benefits. Yet you three tailed sect has not given us any respect and even twisted our goals and objectives. Are you even martial artists? The goal of a martial artist is to challenge the set limit and rise, if we remain stagnant we will be nothing! My senior sister might be kind enough to look away, but I will fight for her! Wait I shall spread your deeds through the fifteen rivers, hundred and twenty peaks and 9 heavens!"

Ara frowned. This was a direct threat and insult towards her sect. First they would most definitely spread word of their master's absence and this would most definitely run their sects name through the mud. Of course those things were inconsequential, but in the end the three tailed sect was their home, their backing and where they would climb to the sky.

Ara clenched her fists tight and her teeth stuck heavily together and the sound of grinding could be heard.

Lucia jumped with great rage and fervor and roared, "You little bastard! You talk of words and intentions being twisted, then what you say you will do is turning black into white!"

As the two sides were about to erupt into a violent dog fight the ugly grating sound of metal being dragged against stone pierced the two sides ears.

They simultaneously looked over and saw a bent man wearing large, excess looking rags with long wild hair draping down his face and a thick unkept beard. In his hands was a broom with metal teeth instead of a brush or wood. What made the broom strange was it was seven feet tall, excluding the metal teeth addition.

The man looked up and swiped her long locks slightly to the side and saw the scene and laughed with a similar bare and hoarse voice, "You rowdy children best be careful. I won't clean the broken buildings."
