Pine Forest.

  I woke up this morning and Joel was gone. I had the biggest sight of relief when I shouted his name and he had responded. He said he had just finished peeing. I think that was the biggest sigh of relief I've ever had. He does look really sickly though. 


  I had a dream of me eating a buffet of food. I'm so hungry. 


    We found an empty water bottle floating in the the river and we put water inside the bottle. The water looks fresh I hope it dosent get us sick.We have decided to go back and get our sleeping bags since usually not much happens in the day. I'll write back in here soon. 


  We walked back to the spot where the cabin was. It was gone now. It was like nothing had ever been there. The sleeping bags weren't left behind either. Joel broke down and began crying. This was one of the only times I've ever seen him cry. I began crying too.


  It's now sunset we found a beautiful looking lake. We had been hiking for hours so were gonna stop now and rest here for the night. I'm really tired same with Joel who looks more depressed that I've ever seen him. So were probably gonna go to sleep. I swear this diary is the only thing keeping me sane now.
