"why did you bring me here, what do you wanna talk about ?" Amellia asks with a trembling voice, fright apparent on her face.

"miss Amellia, please stop flirting with our fiances ! It is preposterous, I can't help but comment on the lack of manners you possess, you are supposed to be a viscount's dignified daughter after all." Miss isabella answers, standing in the front of a small group of girls.

There have been a lot of rumours going around about how great Amellia is, a fact that can't be denied, but exactly because of that, many engaged man have fallen in love with her.

Which is the reason why Isabella and her friends felt wronged. After their loved ones started distancing themselves to gain more time with Amellia, using different excuses to get away from their fiancees.

The girls reached their breaking point and decided to have a conversation with Amellia. unfortunately, they came off a bit rude from trying to restrain their anger for so long.

Tears well up in her eyes as she opens her mouth, "I am so sorry, I didn't think people see it as flirting . it's just that they are the only ones who wanted to spend time with me so I accepted their invitations. i don't have a lot of friends so I often feel lonely. " She says with a flustered gaze and shaking hands.

'She tries to fool us into thinking she is good but she is actually trying to put all of the blame on the guys' shoulders while she remains innocent!' isabella thinks, believing she saw through her foolish play.

She starts, "please stop this fake acting play!" realizing she raised her voice, she tries to rectify her mistake, "I believe we are not asking the immposible, we just wish you could stop being so intimate with them."

"So cruel..." Amellia whispers soft enough it could be missed easily, though that didn't mean the group of girls didn't hear her.

"Aren't you going to stop them ? " the boy asks the girl, both of them hidden while listening to the argument.

"Why should I ?" I answer back with another question.

"well, doesn't she seem pitiful ? They are bullying her, aren't they ?" he says with a playful tone, the fact that he doesn't think so and only finds this amusing visible on his face.

I scoff" i don't care enough to go help her, she got into this situation herself. Getting myself involved would only cause trouble for me."

"Trouble ? Wouldn't you be viewed in good light for helping the popular and helpless girl ? wouldn't most people go help her ?" he asks playfully, smiling when he sees me get annoyed by the barage of questions.

"I don't have any kind of righteous morals, it's just their selfishness getting the better of them and being unable to stand still"

"Selfishness ? I don't get it."

I look at him and sigh ' that expression again, he thinks i said something interesting'

" they believe they are doing the right thing. they try to push the belief that Amellia is in the right because she looks innocent, or because they like her. Already knowing that the girls will be isolated later on because of the "bullying" the group did , but because Amellia was right they don't care about anything else"

He puts one hand on his chin while looking up, "hmmm...but, what if people find out Amellia was in the wrong ?"

" they would say 'she tricked me' ' i just didn't want them to fight' 'i didn't know she was like that' or maybe even say Amellia manipulated them. either way, they won't think they were in the wrong"

"Really ? Such an interesting opinion, would you mind telling me more ?"

I heave another sigh, going straight to the door ready to leave the room while he is closely following me, never once closing his mouth.
